Kat being the same 3pt rating as jimmy butler is crazy
KAT's shooting is constantly disrespected. He won the 3 point contest in 2022. Shot 41% on 9 attempts a game the same year. He's a legit shooter.

@@nonsonoenricoJimmy is a streaky shooter, definitely more prone to making them in clutch moments. But he’s almost just as prone to bricking off-rim in a typical shooting situation

Can you win a championship with a team of players with a BLANK reward tab?
At the start of the season you need to have a team of players with No All Star appearances, No All Rookie, No Championships, No MVP, DPOY etc…
If they get an award (ie All Star) during that season, then it is fine…but if you don’t get the ring, they have to be traded in the off-season, as they won’t have a blank Awards tab in game.
No limit for how many seasons you have to complete, challenge ends when you win the Championship.

asking kenny to do the “defense wins championships” challenge
1. spin a wheel to determine your starting team
2. fantasy draft
3. run a defense system
4. your whole rotation must have a perimeter or interior defense rating of B+ and above, no liabilities
5. Have 3 players who have made an all defensive team at least once in their career
6. you must have the DPOY
7. have a player who averaged at least 2 blocks last season
8. have a player who averaged at least 1.5 steals last season
9. ALL players who are in the rotation must have their shot tendency adjusted to a 50 (unless a player already has a lower tendency)
10. try to win a championship with this lineup, good luck 🐐

Challenge idea: inverse the tendencies on all your players. So if you get Curry, you have to lower his three point tendencies, and bring up his driving/inside tendencies and if you get lebron you turn up his 3pt tendency and turn down the inside tendency. This would be interesting

You could just take the reversal of the attribute. So if Curry's 3pt tendency is 97, you make it a 3 (100 being the sum/max) and if his mid range is a 75 you make it a 25 and so on
@@jakob9942 i think he has done that before. But that would be hard to do with some players, and all the mid players would probably stay mid since their difference isn’t as drastic

Good video Kenny. Really liked the team you built. The fit of players you got worked together really well. No one needed the ball in their hands. They all play defense. None of them have bad attitudes and they are all team players. Don't think you could have built a much better team.

This year you should set a limit for how many trades you do for each challenge or spin a wheel to determine it just so you actually have some sort of difficulty in completing the challenge
Yo Kenny got a video idea… Jersey swap challenge: you can only trade for players that have the same jersey number, EX: Damian Lillard for Jayson Tatum or James harden for Zion. But you can also trade for someone that has done a jersey swap IRL, EX: Dillon Brooks and Kyrie. You have to 3 peat good luck. Day 39 of asking

yo kenny I think you should try this again with guys who are pure sharpshooters (ex. Luke Kennard, Buddy Hield) so it takes away a bigger element of their offensive game
challenge idea, go to the wheel of teams, and whatever team you land on, you have to recreate it. For example, you land on the suns, you go to 2k, do a fantasy draft, and with the assets, you need to get all the current suns players (bradley beal, devin booker, KD, ayton, etc) but once you get everyone, if you don’t feel confident that you can win a championship, you make trades to make them better
If you put the tendencies down then it doesn’t matter if they’re bad shooters

CHALLENGE:
Do a Hoopgrid Challenge and get a rarity score of 25 or lower within 10 minutes. Once you type in a player you can't change it to a player with a lower rarity score. You then use those 9 players in a 9-man rotation and have to win a championship. If time runs out, or you get a rarity score of 25 or higher, you have to stop the grid and fill the remaining roster spots with players that are 40 overalls (and give them minutes). You can use the prime version of the players you get.

I love the idea of no rebounding or nobody above 6'2 or whatever but one thing I don't think you've ever done is, you can make as many trades as you want, but every trade has to fit the criteria of the end mission.
For example, in this video you have to have the 3pt rating below league average but you made a bunch of trades to get there. In this scenario every trade that you make has to have that player be below average. You can't trade for Steph Curry just to flip him later. Every player in every trade has to be below league average. I feel like that makes the challenge so much harder.
