The Manchester City - Houston Astros comparison based on opening the check book is utter garbage. While both teams have had a lot of success over the past few seasons, the Astros field 4 homegrown superstars. Man City bought most all of their talent, it didn't arrive from their academy. Currently the Astros payroll ranks 8th in the MLB, up from 17th the year they won the World Series(2017), while Man City rank 2nd behind United. Please do not insult the Astros so cheaply.

The Rays are like where city were 10 years ago a team who sucked for years now spend a lot of money has winning season after another
City and Astros comparison is more accurate now that both teams have been found out for cheating

Nottingham Forest deserve to own an mlb team, in fact they WERE ACTUALLY A BASEBALL TEAM IN THE 90'S OF 19TH CENTURY AND EVEN WON A title in 1899
I would love to see them owning a baseball team in the u.s their fans deserve it their best fit in Cincinnatti Reds fans who are now crying due to bad owners, Forest would be perfect for them same stadium location, museum, old and rich club it will work out if it's gonna happen
Great video and interesting analysis. Honestly as a Cubs and Arsenal supporter. I think we are closer to the Cardinals or Dodgers, pains me to say it especially the Cards, over the Mets. Rich tradition, 3rd in trophy haul, play entertaining/attractive everyone knows us.
Spurs are more like the mets, Astros are nothing like man city, and arsenal are more like the Phillies.

And the dodgers are kinda like Man City they have a lot of money Cubs and royals are like Leicester they had one good season awhile back.

Forest and the Reds both old, oldest pro club in their countries, both like to be next to a river

1. If you went to the US and went to a college there,pick that city's BB team
2.If you like a cities football or basketball team , then pick that city's BB team.
3.If you have friends or relatives living in a city that has a BB team then pick that BB team.
4. dont pick any team just enjoy the sport.
If we’re talking about Brooklyn Dodgers, than Spurs in a landslide. But the current Los Angeles Dodgers is somehow very similar to Liverpool. Both have a winning culture despite choking in the end. Excellent coaches that built a healthy culture in the clubhouse. Historic stadiums with some controversy. Excellent youth system and players that other teams will over pay for in order to get. And passion fans that fill out the away stadiums.

Leeds is a big club that in the 2000's had bad ownership and had 16 year drought out of top league
Mariners right after a 116 winning season missed the playoffs every year it's 20 years (mybe 21 soon)

Well, Harry Kane the best player in tottenhams history left the club for bayern and many people including me thought that spurs will finish bottom half but they 2 games into a season they havent lost a game and are playing more of a team as they just beat Manchester United first time they beat United at home in 7 YEARS
I have a feeling that this year will be magical for spurs much like 2019 nats
The Spurs last year were a one man show under kane but now that he left they pretty much playing more of a team and more players will contribute

@@jonathanfrimerman8855 Both are frugal on spending but have good overall performance. Both are historically one of the best teams. Both have a set of big die-hard fans. Their fame is brought by organic growth, not by marketing, clout, and mainstream influence.

Liverpool is the most successful English team of all time, the Red Sox is kinda far from being in the 2nd place of all-time achievements even. Man United is literally the Yankees of football. Well-known, rich history, literally rich, casuals & mediocres know them. Both are kinda underperforming right now.

Both teams were the first Red teams to be founded in their respective leagues both of them have stadiums next to a river
Both teams sports history shows that both cities love to be underdog this year they had a great sports year in moltible league
Forests youth teams succeeds as well as Cincinnati as football teams
And finally, The Reds and Forest both suffered bad ownerships in the last 20+years the reds are still suffering but idk it,s crazy how similar Cincinnati is to Nottingham when it comes to sports

This year 2021-22 Forest had their worst start to a season in 108 years (2nd worst in franchise history) with just 1 point from 21 points and stilk ended up getting promoted
This year the Reds had their worst start in franchise history at 3-22 but since than they have a winning record at 17-13🤔🤔
With the recent lottery addition to the draft it's better for the Reds to not tank and instead pull of a mircle to make the playoffs like Forest did
