Reality hawking at its best, really brings out the time and effort you put in. Also like the way you bring Woody into the house to chill out with dogs and family. Look forward to these videos every Friday night they are full of gems for new and experienced falconers alike.
Thank you, congratulations on your free flight, that is a special feeling for sure, good luck I hope the rest if your season goes well. Please let me know occasionally how your hawk is doing. Thank you for watching.
Hi Pete, another excellent video. That was crazy Beau had that woodcock in his mouth and it was still alive!! I was shocked when it flew away lol. Very sportsmanlike to let the rabbit go. Nice to see Woody soaring around, so very cool :)
Amazing to see woody soaring, my female HH hasn’t mastered that skill yet, although she did take her first ever hare last week that was around 3.2kg! She’s never even caught a rabbit so I was surprised to say the Least. Great video, inspiring as always.
Hi Pete, well impressed with the sporting attitude towards the rabbit, even though you are hunting, it's not just about killing, another great video, regards.
Great video Pete I was amazed how beau caught that woodcock That’s not a easy task Great day out and awesome falconry And sportsmen like to let that rabbit live another day My hat goes out to you
Yes the Woodcock was amazing, after watching it back I see that it played dead, once put down then it flew off. As you say not east picking one of those up , thank you for saying. Have a great weekend cheers.
Fantastic falconry, credit to woody for learning how to use the wind to his advantage. You sir must take 110% credit for training him so well. Very well done Pete for forming you all in to a super team.
Reading the comments, many gave praise to woody 😊 A Harris Hawk Tercel on the Large size 650 gr ? But no body said a word about your G W ? I will she seems like she knows exactly what you want her to do - A Harris and G W the most versatile team possible 😊 Austringer s Greetings
That’s very thoughtful thank you, Woody is flying at between 1lb 8 1/2 and 1lb 9 and increasing, about 700 plus grams I think. Beau is a lovely member of the team and will just get better. Appreciate the comment thank you,, Austringers return greetings
