Yeah its fake, but it's still my favourite Pink Floyd song. I was at a Roger Waters concert a couple of years ago and heard it played live for the first (and probably the only) time. Roger Waters is one of my rock and roll heroes - the only one I have ever seen live. To see him playing all those great songs - which he wrote or co-wrote - was indeed a privilege and highlight of my life.

Ok, after carefully reviewing both versions of this song, after the split. BOTH are equally amazing. I think that stress and a lot of it, trying to perfect just the theatrical aspect, then the sound, its a hell of a lot of stress to pull off such excellent shows, WOW. I chalked it up there with Mozart 21!!! Absolute perfection…Period! However, with stress usually comes ego. From ego, anger and so on and so forth. But, Kudos to all those who were part of the Pink Floyd experience. Thanks to all.

Me too and al the solo tours as well. Smaller venues gave me more of a chance to talk to the guys afterwards. Got my Rog & Nick tics for 2021 already. In need of a fix. Saw David at Richard Thompsons & Peter Greens. Hope he gets out there again.
30 years here, exactly. Hoping for just one more show out of him. The last one is a bit ...hazy...but I got to meet him, rather get yelled at by him raving and drooling about eBay, and was able to listen to soundchecks. Even wash? I have no idea how many concerts all told I've been at. But I remember waiting 30 years to hear the phone operator bit in a full Wall show. along with Nobody Home. Bucket list, check.
Anyone that has been to as many Pink Floyd and Roger Waters as I have, know that this was not dubbed. They are just that good and technologically ahead of any other group !! I have been to a total of 12 of their concerts !!! Even all the background noises / voices are present at their live shows !!

Jeez, less than 2000 views and and only 35 likes in 2 years? People are just not digging enough. Can't really call this a complaint, but i thought it was a lip-sync. It sounded EXACTLY like the original recording! Ole Roger always knew how to put on a show! I won't get into which version of Floyd was better, they were equally good and had hired musicians to sound dead-on like Floyd!
Definitely a lip sync, but I'd point to whoever made the video putting the original track over the concert. I highly doubt Roger would lip sync live like that. Too much of a pro.
@@jonmac86 Roger's recorded vocal range is wider than Freddy Mercury's. He definitely lip synchs for parts of the live show, but the guy is almost 80 years old. Remember, you don't just have to retain your range, you've also got to be able to punish your throat with that treatment every night of the tour, and he's way older than we have any right to expect him to keep doing that.

My opinion is this- I think that whoever made that video dubbed the EXACT studio version of Brain Damage/Eclipse over a video clip of Waters playing it live at a concert. The sound is identical to the studio version. I don't doubt that Waters or any professional vocalist has to lip synch at times, especially when you're on a 40-50 show tour, the chords wear out, just like an athlete at the end of the season... I am with you there. My point is simply that this video has the original studio track dubbed over the video of a live concert. Hope that clarifies a bit.
