The hilarious thing is that Bill hesitated after being asked about the "worst night" of his career. Apparently this horror story had some legitimate competition lol.. just goes to show you the tenacity needed to be a successful comedian, especially one who pushed the edge as much as Bill
I believe the sadness could mostly be attributed by how deep-set people are in the idea that the world is fine. Bill tried his best to get people to his way of thinking, to open their eyes to certain truths in the world, through comedy. He was a good man, and it really just... sucks that he's gone.

im from Louisiana and that story is without a doubt true as it gets...he painted that picture and it was like a scene going out...lovely.... We love Mr. Hicks!!
Bill Hicks. Credit where it's due; good story-teller, good stage presence, very good timing. No problems there. The added idea that he was some sort of 'philospher' of (more laughably) a 'genius' are proof positive how shallow pop culture is. Good standup. Nothing more.

I think, that, like many people on the road constantly, after awhile, it all runs together. He's lucky, that he at least got the right state!
Man I enjoy listening to his fucking stories. From a human being that did not have the internet growing up and actually knows how to carry a conversation.
I dealt with my first bout of racism towards me when my husband and I got together in Texas.
