Level 16 is the 17th level of the Backrooms.
Level 16, often known as "J. Barry Mental Asylum" or merely "Mental Asylum," is an abandoned mental institution that expands indeterminate measurements and duplicates indefinitely. A person traveling an extensive distance from their previous building may notice that the asylum replicates the layout of the primary structure, adhering and interacting with further areas having identical or a similar configuration to the former by-pass location.

Ok so this is the level 16 from the fandom page and not the wiki dot, well that makes sense because the wiki dot version of level 16 is pretty messed up and virtually undescribable, because the level can shift its topography and alter its environment at random intervals, for example you could go there one time and the level is an arctic tundra then comeback another time and it could be a rainforest. Its unpredictable nature makes it a very confusing and potentially dangerous level to go to, its not an easy level to leave either because every time the level changes so does the exit, which if you find it will take you to level 46.
I do like this version of level 16, an entire Asylum that no-clipped into the backrooms is pretty insane (no pun intended) its definitely a much more stable variant of level 16, with few entities and it's able to sustain human settlements, so that alone already makes this version of level 16 much more manageable then the twisted wiki dot version.

But besides that, the legend had uploaded another banger! It's great to see some levels that don't get enough attention getting their own found footage. And my favourite part was when Michael ate some food. Hands down, the best part, no questions.

What is it about backrooms that make it look like backrooms. It just has that feel. I could just take a camera and record myself alone in a building but that won't make it like a backroom found footage.
