Your so right about not getting water in your lead. You could ask, well wat kind of idiot would do that? But if your knocking your lead balls off in a 5 gallon bucket of water, then watch out when you dry your scrap lead in the sun because there can still b water pockets in some of the balls that didn't form right. Then when you add more lead, your whole pot will exsplode. Love your videos bud.

I'm thinking about buying a black powder rifle. Black powder rifle , but I don't know what to buy . What is the best choice for as much different game with the least investment in lead and other supplies ?
Not too many People are willing to help with advice these days . Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Wood chips and shavings are best any wax will cause impurities in the lead but wood chips react with the oxidation on the lead and remove the impurities. This is especially important with electric Bottom Pour Pots as the junk from wax will plug up the pour spout and cause tiny gas bubbles in the Bullets which hurts accuracy. Get the mold hot enough to make the Lead fall off the Mold and your temperature is just about right.

Could you make that with raccoon fat, or does it have to be pig/beef tallow?

Tallow and fat have two different consistencies. I use those fats for oils on wood and leather and metal tools and guns so very good stuff but this needs to be lamb deer or beef . Not sure what goat has but possibly it too so that it solidifies good
