GLOCK!!! BUDDY!!!! NEVER, EVER let a Stego borrow your raft unless you make sure to tell him to fill up that tanks on the raft before bringing it back. Now he knows. And knowing is half the sandwich or something like that.
Glock9, :You have a Tribe tab next to your dino tracker tab that has a Tribe Log - and it will tell you what happened to your missing dino - if it died it will list the death. Maybe you don't want to show it on screen.. lol. it gives away all your secrets.
A few tips from what I've learned so far: -When picking up structures, you don't have to worry about anything demolishing if you pick up the support, it will just all go in your inventory, so you don't have to do 1 at a time. -If you create a tribe for yourself, you can get a log of your and dino deaths so you can know what happened to them -The pattern on the stego's scales actually represent its attack mode. There are 3 modes, and each has its own benefit vs dinos or harvesting. -Oh and if you do build a wall, if you don't want it to be completely made of dino gates, you can use fence supports which will let you build a level wall without foundations. It snaps very nicely too.
The voice of the lady is actually the digital consciousness that was talking to you at the beginning of the game. She was a human named Helena, an explorer sent to Ark, went through a whole lot of advanture, fights and conflicts with her companions and managed to ascend(defeat the guardians of each obelisk) through all 3 arks(Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration) then finally returned to planet Earth(Extinction map). From there she and her companions suffered great loss, her consciousness was uploaded to the network with the help of her friend before she almost died, then she becomes the consciousness you saw at the beginning. She then gained control over the Arks, then found a way to literally respawn people who died back to the Arks and started helping the survivors to survive the Ark and take back Earth. The fact that players are able to respawn in this game after they died is all thanks to her, lore-wise. The explorer notes you found mostly belonged to her when she was a human exploring these places the first time herself. For context, the general story plot of Ark is that human polluted earth with something they found in a meteor called Element. Element gave humans new tech and energy but created pollutions, mutations and creatures called Titans, which took over earth and forced human escape to outer space. Then human built Arks that orbits planet earth, and they copied consciousness of people into artificial bodies and send them down to Ark to learn to survive in hostile environment, hoping that one day, the toughest, fittest of human who ascended from the Ark will be able to take back earth.
OMG Love the series , funny stuff :) a way to keep your dinos close to base is to pick a dino that won't fight (EG Simon) set him to passive then hop on him and whistle all the other dinos to follow. That way all the dinos will battle whoever attacks but then return to the dino that is on passive and doesn't attack. :) hope it helps.
As for having everyone stay near base after attacking something, I usually get a small dino that I can ride and put inside my base and set it to passive. Ride that dino and whistle "follow all" and everything will follow that dino instead of you. It'll make everyone gather around your base, or whatever building you put the dino in, so it might look like a cluster fuck but it will at least make everything go back to base after they wander off from fighting something. That should work until you get walls put up around your base area!!
Good tips. I do it that way too. I just don't put the 'anker-dinos' inside my base but instead use turtles as cheap, tanky hitch-posts and put them in tactical positions around my base.
Goddamn it, the Tina groan... got me. Hahaha. Edit: You can see Dora at 22:35 in the top right of the screen, you can whistle her down with a spyglass if she can't hear you from the ground.
Put a fence foundation down in the middle right under the sail hole then put a wooden pillar above the fence foundation where the sail would be, hide the sail to see the post hole then you can sink stone foundations and still use the oar.
I'd like to make a case for taming low-level (50 and below) "harvesting dinos" in the early game. 1) They take fewer tranqs and resources (such as berries) to tame, as well as taming much faster while out in a predator's territory, 2) They harvest faster than by hand, and in larger quantities, without consuming your own stamina, 3) Losing a low-level tame isn't as heartbreaking as losing your god-stat 150 tame, 4) You can retire low-level females as 0/0 breeders or put them in the kibble farm. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk. :^]
I wasn't talking about King of the Hill, I was talking about the rex, lol. His rex, Bobby Hill, was a dad. So there is a baby rex wandering around@@davidayers7796
I wasn't talking about King of the Hill, I was talking about the rex, lol. His rex, Bobby Hill, was a dad. So there is a baby rex wandering around@@davidayers7796
Dora was hovering above you at the end of the video - she should be easy to get back :) And isn't there a log where you can see if/when the dinos die? There was in early ARK: SE as I recall :)
When you're dismantling buildings, if something is connected to what you take away, it will now go into your inventory instead of destroying it. Also remember the Dino pathfinding has been improved, so traps & getting aggro on flyers, trying to trick dinos to run off cliffs, all are more difficult. Dinos sometimes also try to bait you in to chase them so they can close distance & get you. Also Steggos can uhh.. Stab.. things with their tail, it does dmg over time & stuns the creature. That is what happened to the Theri & why it stopped.
To get your tames to RTB after a base battle, put one small tame inside the building on passive and have all of the other tames follow it. Just make sure that you set follow distances accordingly.
Dammit Bobby! Simon is definitely a cartoon character😂 and all of them are in some form in a cartoon….Looking forward to finding out which Dino’s are going to end up with the TMNT names???
Aye what’s up everyone Frank Rizzo here….bout damn time we get EP 3 bro…you had us waitin long enough shit….have to come down there and split ya fro your head to you ass….LMAO Very happy for the vid thanks!!!
I'm pretty sure you can press the hotkey for your weapon to repair it instead of opening the inventory, right clicking the weapon, and then clicking repair. Makes it way faster. Also the craftables can be added to a to-do-list from the inventory to keep track of ur required materials and materials in ur inventory. Hope these help.
To get her back down look at her through spyglass and whistle her to fellow 😅 so excited u are back in ark sweetie been playing Ark 5 yrs and 7days 4yrs Caption Fatdog is working on new traps
Set a pillar even with the mast. Quickly set a second pillar behind the first pillar. (This is how you sink them) pick up the first pillar and replace it, sinking it lower then the other. repeat three times and the foundation will cover the bottom and sides and still allow you to activate the raft.
just had a fun idea. if you wanna name your dinos after the Neebs crew but wanna stick with your cartoon naming convention, name them after their Doraleous & Associates characters :D
Jump off your tame right at the bottom of the fall and the tame will not take fall damage! You might take some damage if you jump off too high, but it comes in handy for long jumps.
Dora is hovering over the T-rex trap you've built. You can see her in top right corner in 23:36 . Can't wait for next episode, and for the weekend so I can hop in the game as well. Gl & hf ;)
Good to see you are the only one saying it correctly Chitin (my mother wrote book 36 in all sold in 52 countries and she was born in England and spoke proper english and that is how it is supposed to be pronounced , people who saying it the other only show how ignorant they really are !!!!) P.S. keep up the great vids bud
Quit tip! Stegos have 3 harvest modes that change their plates, one for berries, one for thatch, and one for wood! My keybind is caps, yours might be different
You could also just place a trap door and open it when you want to "drive", i made a floating fortress once with guns all around, nothing could approach it.
Stegos are perfect early-mid game berry gatherers. They even get a 1/4 weight reduction so even a low level can get an absurd amount of berries. Only downside is that they’re slow.
glock ill tell you a tip so when you are taming dinos wait for its food to drop bc then its basically an instant tame once it drops enough if you feeed it right away then something will attack it and boom waste of berrys and itll let you grind more and not make you worry more
not sure if ASA is the same as ASE for this, but you have always been able to snap thatch ceilings on top of the stone foundations and then you only need to take out the one foundation over the steering lever thing. You can extend the ceilings outwards and then snap stone foundations to the bottom of them. When you remove the ceilings, the foundations will stay.
Pro tip get a bare there attack and health is insane. Just get honey and a lv 150 will take 10 minutes to tame with 8 to 14 honey and it will be over lv 200 but if done on double Sunday it will take half as much honey and lv will be very close to lv 300.
Something learned is that you can pickup the bottom walls/foundation/supports and anything that would have normally been destroyed in SE will not be destroyed. They will just go into your inventory. Also you can turn off the talking continuing to talk when the dossier is closed in the settings.
For trap ideas there is a youtuber called captain fatdog that does some amazingly cheap and effective traps. He has already made an argy and rex trap for ASA, the rex one only requiring 6 pillars and 2 quarter walls.
I can't wait for each ark episode to come out as you always make me laugh, I think you are great glock keep up the great work Oh on another note April is a great berry harvester as well
1) make a saddle ... 2) put it on a dino ( Simon ) .... 3) set dino to passive (not passive - flee) ... 4) set dino to where you want it to stay parked ... 5) While mounted whistle to the dinos that you want to fight to follow ...... that is your anchor ⚓point for the other dinos to return to
Glock was just steady staring at the pterodactyl there at the end and was like idk where she went lmfao

The rex trap doesn’t need to be two high anymore, because of the new wall height.

Change follow distance to high to avoid the clusterfuck. Dinos will stay _somewhere_ nearby ur base.
Good tips. I do it that way too. I just don't put the 'anker-dinos' inside my base but instead use turtles as cheap, tanky hitch-posts and put them in tactical positions around my base.
I love your videos but i gotta say your ARK videos are the greatest :)
Absolutely agree! Love his Ark and I hope he sticks it out
Goddamn it, the Tina groan... got me. Hahaha.
Edit: You can see Dora at 22:35 in the top right of the screen, you can whistle her down with a spyglass if she can't hear you from the ground.
Weight is good on the Anky but Melee will increase your harvest amt.
This Island video has definitely been more chaotic than the last series! Fun to watch for sure.
You know it's a fuckin' good day when Glock9 uploads.
Every streamer I watch fails to house their tames and then wonders why they get killed all the time... shut them away - it's dangerous out there!
Perfect play makes boring videos. Maybe he learned that from Neebs Gaming, lol.
You playing Ark is comedy gold, it’s chaos every step of the way.
Glock9 - Love all of this... and I now NEED you to make a mod where YOU read every explorer note. Give the people what they want!
The return of Simon!
Put a fence foundation down in the middle right under the sail hole then put a wooden pillar above the fence foundation where the sail would be, hide the sail to see the post hole then you can sink stone foundations and still use the oar.

It's always fun to see you amassing an army of dinosaurs in ARK!
Bobby Hill was a dad, which means there's a baby rex somewhere. Also the dino he couldn't think of was the doedicurus
I wasn't talking about King of the Hill, I was talking about the rex, lol. His rex, Bobby Hill, was a dad. So there is a baby rex wandering around@@davidayers7796

Yes there is. It’s also in MP as well. It shows up in tribe logs.
Yea if you have a tribe it will show

22:32 Dora just floating around like, "Can you spot the Dora?!" 😆
Love watching you play ark, April can get you berries with her alt attack.
The ark videos are the best! Keep up the work
Enjoying this series! Stego's are really decent berry gatherers.
Melee damage on the Anklo makes you harvest more metal. Weight is already cut by a 75% when in their inventory.
Thanks!
Thanks Yamato, I appreciate that!
To get your tames to RTB after a base battle, put one small tame inside the building on passive and have all of the other tames follow it. Just make sure that you set follow distances accordingly.
"Simon is basically a cartoon character anyway" lol i hope he sees that
3:46 duck wanted all the smoke 😂
Poor Simon stuck in the rocks. Haha love it
This game is so weird. Always fun to watch your video's regardless of setting.
Dammit Bobby! Simon is definitely a cartoon character😂 and all of them are in some form in a cartoon….Looking forward to finding out which Dino’s are going to end up with the TMNT names???
Totally agree with the explorer notes. I prefer your version better.
Aye what’s up everyone Frank Rizzo here….bout damn time we get EP 3 bro…you had us waitin long enough shit….have to come down there and split ya fro your head to you ass….LMAO
Very happy for the vid thanks!!!
Enjoying the new series man.. followed you through much of your 7days stuff but gotta say I prefer this. Keep up the good work dude.

This game just doesnt scratch that itch, but I just love glock 9's sarcasm and humor, so i watch his game play anyway.
To get her back down look at her through spyglass and whistle her to fellow 😅 so excited u are back in ark sweetie been playing Ark 5 yrs and 7days 4yrs Caption Fatdog is working on new traps
you need to get an Army of Allosauruses
Sorry bout your cold! I just got over one myself hope you feel better soon ! Love all your stuff!
Set a pillar even with the mast. Quickly set a second pillar behind the first pillar. (This is how you sink them) pick up the first pillar and replace it, sinking it lower then the other. repeat three times and the foundation will cover the bottom and sides and still allow you to activate the raft.

16:17 you can pick up the lower wall or foundation without breaking the top.If you pick the foundation, everything snapped to that will be picked up

More ARK please!!!!
This would be an amazing daily series ngl😭
Dino Gates and Behemoth Gates leading to a "fenced-in" area make great traps, as well as defense for your tames.
Your Ark videos are brilliant!
Lol your flyer is in the sky 😂
Ark series is fanFUCKINtastic man
Keep it up and please post it every day like
It makes my day to see dinos and hearing you joking about them
Love the Ark content!
i swear, your New Yorkness, is the part that makes your stuff so great!
He's from New Jersey
@@Splappa09Gaming Then i apologize, regardless, i love the attitude
@@jeffhall2411 no worries lol. His attitude is why most of us are here
Your ark gameplay videos are the most enjoyable of all the ark player on youtube out there. Keep them coming !
Glock, if you upgrade a working dinos damage it will make its resource gathering better. Loving the ark vids btw, please keep this series going!
If Dino's don't like going up ramps anymore, could you just build high ramps as either anti-dino walls or high ground when you're out and about?
Glockyy u got all these tallywackers and a boat is Ark Pirates B-) Gotta name someone WILSOOONNNNNN
Quit tip! Stegos have 3 harvest modes that change their plates, one for berries, one for thatch, and one for wood! My keybind is caps, yours might be different
10:00...close your eyes 😂. It's like listening to Joey Diaz tell his stories to Joe Rogan 🤣
You could also just place a trap door and open it when you want to "drive", i made a floating fortress once with guns all around, nothing could approach it.
Loving this series! Plus your outro beat is fire!
Stegos are perfect early-mid game berry gatherers. They even get a 1/4 weight reduction so even a low level can get an absurd amount of berries. Only downside is that they’re slow.
When glock was imitating the announcer lady i was losing my shit haha
Unless they've significantly changed it, stegos harvest berries (and everything else they hit) frighteningly fast. You'll never need a moschops again.
"Level 150? We should get this lil' fucker." LMAO 11:21
Glock is a friggin legend bro everything my man does is S grade
I petition that a mod should be made with glock doing all the explorer notes for the dinos at least with the boston accent
Make sure you also upgrade the melee damage on the harvesting dinos, it'll increase the amount of resources they gather.
@9:55 Watch out David Attenborough…Glock is coming for your job!
“… lives in caves and shit. climbs up the walls. fuggetaboutit.” 😂😂
I love that you named them all Simon 😂😂
I’m new here but loving your videos. Also I could listen to you talk all day 😂
glock ill tell you a tip so when you are taming dinos wait for its food to drop bc then its basically an instant tame once it drops enough if you feeed it right away then something will attack it and boom waste of berrys and itll let you grind more and not make you worry more

great vid! kind of a missed opportunity to sigh and say "dang it Bobby" though.
love the series!!!
I'm sure you can jump into the water to access the raft from underneath, I've got myself a boat home and workshop 😅
For trap ideas there is a youtuber called captain fatdog that does some amazingly cheap and effective traps. He has already made an argy and rex trap for ASA, the rex one only requiring 6 pillars and 2 quarter walls.
When you build your walls you could put in an area for your dilos to breed, guard, and passively kill things
What a great episode today.
Stegos are great for berries I usually use a stego, trike or bronto
I can't wait for each ark episode to come out as you always make me laugh, I think you are great glock keep up the great work
Oh on another note April is a great berry harvester as well
Better way to put stone on a boat is to lower the foundations in the center so you can access it.
was i the only one who noticed the death whale at 6:06sec, dude if you went out a few more meters you'd have been DEAD! xD
Amazing video glock 9 love you man please, PLEASE pump out mroe of the ark content thats i all i watch and i love ya brotha
if dinos avoid ramps at all cost, you can protect your base by building ramps around it.
there is a cave very close to where you live that has a lot of crystal just past the entrance of the cave before you encounter any of the creatures.
Forget about floating the foundations on the raft. Just put a stone hatch frame over the tiller.

If you pump Melee into your anky you get more metal per hit!
honestly it's like Glock deliberately cuts to just before something poops, every time.
