For those who said that the update didn't improve the performance, you're all wrong. They improved the AI spawn range and more NPC in an area at the same time. That supposed to hurt the fps but they optimized it so the fps still the same. They also fix a lot of visual glitch/bugs and corrected various gfx effects without sacrificing the fps. Doing all of these improvements while still getting the same fps(or more) is really great considering the status of game development these days.
@@diefontanelle1468 Now that A-Life is working, they can focus on performance. If they didn't focus on A-Life, we wouldn't get this update and optimization, considering how much NPCs roam areas now, at far greater distances, this was a big massive improvement, that 110GB ain't for nothing. They cleared the hassle that is A-Life, next, is gonna be big fps improvements.
Thanks for the quick video!!! At least it's the same after all the fixes and expanded A-Life range, good. Still, i'll be waiting for a big performance optimization patch.
I had drop to 7fps in town after few minutes in town Rostock. RTX 3060Ti 1440p balance dlss and mix settings from low do high + FSR FG. Vram was 7.3GB on msi afterburner osd.
Hopefully they fix quick the performance issues. From what I've seen so far of the game, it starts to randomly stutters in populated areas and sometimes when you kill an NPC and start looting and hitting their ragdoll movement. Everytime I have to load a previous save or go to main menu, return and everything fixes. The stutters are not realted to RIG but rather seomthing that happens ingame. Same area can play like shit or good depending on if you're fresh playing from the menu, or been playing for 30 minutes.
I don't know why it doesn't show in this video, but i am getting way more stable performance with a 4080 and 13600k this patch. With and without framegen. One thing to note though: I've reset graphics settings and reapplied them and needed quite a few restarts of the game before they were applied properly.
@@theyoungjawn why are you lying it literally says "Performance improvements in largely populated areas of the map." i went to a couple of big places and saw 0 fps difference compared to last patch
They did like 500 bug fix & balance in this patch alone.. But they did nothing to address the performance & optimizations I guess people who didn't pre-order will play the game as it's should been released Will pick this game in early 2025 when it's $30 & fixed (mostly) at least.. never pay $60 for broken games
I surprisingly had better performance. After the update it’s smoother for me and my movement is less laggy. Bases are still terrible when it comes to fps though.
@@MxBenchmarkPC UE5 is here to kill gaming for good with that patching size. funniest shit is that the game runs exactly the same, and they ain't add nothing worth 110gigs
According to patchnotes, there should be better performance with RTX 30X series for nvidia, specifically with frame gen. Im not sure how big of an improvement it is since it will take a lot of time for me to download the update 😂 but other than that it would be nice to know from others whether their card on this side performs better. Im on a 3070 and pripyat is unplayable so i hope they have fixed it
I can confirm this, I have been playing on a 3060ti with framegen and there was a weird bug where the frame gen would absolutely demolish the game not only not generating any frames but reducing my frames to like 5fps until completely restarted the game. This issue seems to be resolved and the overall stability of my FPS was also improved.
Another stinker in terms of performance, take a bow GSC. And before some dip shit comments telling me to upgrade, I have a 4070 and 5800X3D and the game still runs like wet ass at 1440p. Please for the love of christ just retire this engine already if devs aren’t actually going to go the extra mile to optimise their games and give their customers the best experience possible relative to their hardware instead of relying on upscaling to make it “good enough”.

The only thing that matters is more frames, so a moderate update

What's in the statters release, what's in patch 1.1, and where's the optimization?

Happy to help.
did they fix "frame gen" drops FPS for about 5 or 10 after a 30 or 40 minutes in towns?
I have this issue on my 3060 laptop card and it's a VRAM issue. According to this video VRAM usage is the same so I guess they didn't 😅👍🏻
If you have a rtx 3000 series it is mention that Fsr was causing fps drop, so it is fix. that's what they are stating
I'm about to try the patch, in My case, the Game always crashes with fg able. The patch notes says they fix it
There is no any frame gen drop on mine

Looking forward to playing this game once it is out of Beta.
They broke a DLSS in this patch, when you use a flashlight with DLSS on image is weird shadow if you turn on TSR all is ok! 👌

Same here with my 4070ti/5700x3D. The frame gen is less stuttery/laggy. It’s smoother now after the update but bases are still an unoptimized mess.
So no change at all ? lol
The change was to AI and QOL changes. Nothing regarding the performance was mentioned in the notes.
@theyoungjawn if ai, then performance go down?
AI puts heavier load on CPU, so if the performance in CPU-limited scenarios doesn't get worse while AI is better, it's a win.

wait, they made it worse? avg fps might be higher but the frametime graph is all over the place.
Definitely feels worse.
110GB for nothing in terms of performance lol
less ram usage, better 1%
Some GPUs with certain setups had improvements. I've been seeing some YT videos on it.
Not for everybody. On my system there's massive improvement of performance outside of settlements
this patch wasnt meant to be for optimization lol

Bro did really put the “RTX on” without rt
In case you didn't know, the game uses UE5's Lumen, which is software Ray Tracing.
@ U put that on for hw raytracing. I think u also never saw Nvidia advertise with RT on on a software RT right
they need to patch doors that's always close because that bug is the reason why i can't play now stuck on a roof :(
1-2 fps increase ABSOLUTELY EBIN OPTIMIZATION. And all you have to do is basically re-download the entire game.
разницы нету, прошёл месяц, а буст производительности так и нет( можно не ждать больше
if A-life is fixed i am happy i am playing on a 4060 with optimization mods
Looks like its not
Dont count on them ever fixing A life, these devs are trash
Put avg fps and 1% lows in the graph....

are the stutterings less now??
