    Seriously no one else is doing this. Plenty of trucks getting built… but the amount of detail you go into with design to execution is not happening any other place. Great content, keep it coming.

    So glad you are getting rid of the band aid trailing arms. All looks great. Like the halo idea for the cab cage. Keeps things clean and tight.

    Another cool breakdown and I'm looking forward to future episodes. What I think would be a cool episode for a newb like myself... I think an episode on fitting tubing ie; measuring, cutting, notching, and bending would be epic. I've always wondered how you get the fit right especially with the angles, notches, bends, and whatnot. Keep up the good work.

    Love the tube work Morgan. One thing I can't wrap my head around is how the cabs are hung/mounted on the cage and frame.

    Looking good Morgan! Love the tube layout on this. Question: when you said the roof is a mix of 120, 090 and 060, what is the reasoning behind that? Is it a weight factor or is it a sort of crumple zone?

    These guys just must be burning threw $$$$, that truck as a tundra was just fine, I think Morgan told me that truck handled sand highway at like 80-90mph in comfort. So Eric just up an decided I want f100, he must sell a lot of tires an whatever else he does. Love what your doing MCD. How do you guys figure out cost, like the labor do you just keep track of your hours and you get X hourly? How do you make profit?

    Really digging the content, Morgan. Love your work!
    I’m pretty new to the whole prerunner thing, so I’m wondering- why keep the 5ish feet of factory frame rail and not just ditch it and build completely from scratch? (This question sort of pertains to all frame rail prerunners I’ve seen). Is the whole idea of keeping the chunks of frame rail to retain the ability to register it for use on public roads (maybe there’s some rule about having factory frame rails)? Hoping someone could shed some light on that.

    • @bougiebum9138
      @bougiebum9138 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I was wondering the same. This seems like such an involved undertaking that the sections of factory frame just seem like a major nuisance at this point

    • @ws446
      @ws446 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Likely just a good point of reference, he's already plated it and removed a shit ton from the rear section. Since the bulkhead is basically built off it, maybe it was kept to maintain structural strength and kept the project moving forward. Either way Morgan's not gonna let anything out the door unless it's bullet proof.

    Awesome build. Question on the sway bar arms. They look short and end links at hard angle. I am building kartek sway bar right now on my prerunner. The way sway bar had to be installed clear the fuel cell the sway bar arms center to center 31”… looks bit weird. But my end links stay pretty well vertical. Any recommendations or rule thumb when installing sway bar system?
