Before I make any comments, I must say I have a VanDoIt LIV Model on order. I have researched vans for 2 years. I have taken several Camper van trips with various DIY and RV manufacturer types. I have also attended the Adventure Van EXPO to review many of the customizable van builders. Though I would have liked to have gotten my Camper Van Adventures started earlier I decided to wait as I continue to come back to the flexibility of VanDoIt. Can't wait to start my true design this week. Thank you for doing this interview as I have not seen all the newer options. Very well done!!
I don't either.. but it's a van... 2 ft to me won't make a difference.. what I don't like is folks trying to put a bathroom in a van?? takes up half the space.
I love the flexibility of this van. I am a fan of it! In addition, I am also a cold weather camper, so insulation and heating are important. Thanks for sharing!
This is really compelling for me. Everyone tries to build a house inside a van but I overland and need something modular so I can adapt the use for my destinations
This company leased or sold passenger vans decades before they ever got in the van conversion business so if you think they’re set up to pass the savings on to you that they get by buying vans in large quantities I’ve got a bridge I’ll sell you. There’s a reason they require you to buy the van from them.
“Everything can come out if you want to do a Home Depot run”. Well then you should’ve had her demonstrate that because I’m guessing it would take at least several hours to take this stuff out and even longer to put it back in
Great van. I like the flexibility. Definitely would need added water. The modular system would make it easier to fit a wheelchair within the design. First time for me to see this product. Great for families too.
Super informative. This is what I have been envisioning for my needs and what I would want to build. This is way more complex than I would do, but I like the “Swiss army knife” aspect of this…. change it from a hunting rig to a rig that I can slide my kayaks into, or use it to move furniture, or go over landing with my wife. Very cool setup.
If you’re gonna talk about some module coming out you should be prepared to demonstrate it live or I’m gonna assume it’s a pain in the ass to do, and no timelapse
LOL. Humble Road could sell ice cream to the Eskimos. He knows absolutely nothing about structural engineering and very little about 80/20 aluminum extrusions. He’s just a good storyteller. Who would hire a watch photographer to do structural engineering? Have you ever heard the phrase only as strong as the weakest link? Humble Road over builds with the framing he chooses and under builds with the connectors he chooses. Over building with one part does absolutely no good when under building with something else. He was only using 15 series 8020 until I hounded him into using 10 series But he will never acknowledge it but I have my dated comments to prove it. By the way did you know that 80/20 makes (metal) or has custom made (plastic) over 2000 different products but Humble Road hasn’t even mastered the less than 10 of their products that he has ever used.
@@strangerpalooza Why didn’t you have her demonstrate how easy it really is, if indeed it is, to take something out or change anything with this so-called modular system? This is just a commercial
So where do you put all the stuff when you take it off? Are you gonna drive all the way back home put it in your garage then go where you’re going and then when you need that thing again drive all the way back home and put it on your van? That’s not how life works.
Obviously if you are taking the stuff out you would be using the van for more of a cargo van. So yes, once you take the cargo out of the van you would put all the camper stuff back in. You more than likely aren’t driving far away from your house if you are using it for a cargo van.
Might be modular and all, but it’s ugly! Looks like a Frankenstein van that I would put together with my limited knowledge of van building. For the price you pay for these vans, they need to refine their design and make it more esthetically appealing.

I really don't want a toilet near my food. 😂😂
🤣 the thing with vans that’s a double edge sword is that he limitations of space

You’re welcome, thanks 🙏🏽 for checking us out 😁
Go hank!! I sold my NOVA promaster and bought an awd transit and I’m gonna do a self build. Headed east in the summer.
Cool 😁👍🏾

Fascinating. Like that they get the Ford for you also.
Very different .... 👀
thank you.. both for sharing
👍😊
Why am I just finding out overland expo east was in Virginia? Man I can't believe I didn't know. I could have went.
We’re planning on going next year, it was very last minute for us this year

👍🔔🚐 love that things front end, looks good!
Yeah I need on of those “raptor” grills
That’s a nice bumper.
Yeah Backwoods had some cool stuff
This is a very cool van and a great concept for modular living. Seems like they are a great company, thanks for another great video.
Endoskeleton. Good stuff! Lots of cool ideas. Thanks for sharing.
Is Vandoit going to be at the upcoming Van gathering, forget the name, in San Juan Capistrano?
The vent on the window, is that made by them or is there a brand name?
Great van. I like the flexibility. Definitely would need added water. The modular system would make it easier to fit a wheelchair within the design. First time for me to see this product. Great for families too.
Rube Goldberg would be proud of this design
That is an awesome idea they have just an amazing van at at good price love it.

Thank you Hank and Lola! It’s so awesome that you share with us all these different and unique vans! I love your channel!
You’re welcome, and thanks so much for the support Gary
Interesting van but I think you should get Lola an American Coach... more her style!
Where is this company located , and do they plan to expand to other areas where camping is very active?
Nice to see thumbs up and shared. :)
Any idea who produces the vents on the front passenger window? @2:55

I love this
I live in Washington DC , where can I go to have a diesel heater installed in in my 2020 Ford Transit all wheel drive ?
Those thermal curtains have gaps at the sides as you can see so they’re not gonna be very effective
Decent use of 8020 but @humbleroad has mastered this product…

II am greatly interested in this company’s services. How can I contact them by phone and\or online?
She didn’t even demonstrate how to level the bed. Why didn’t you ask her to demonstrate that if it’s so easy?
What is your definition of “modular”?
They don’t like plumbing because plumbing breaks?
I’m waiting on mine n
Great van, lots of options and great flexibility.
I’ve always thought these are really cool

Van Dolt?

I want only one vehicle. Buy more vehicles and you have registration, storage issues.

First strike
What’s up Dan 👋🏾
Practical, but bordering on unattractive, very cluttered ..... not sure how it "fits" in with nature.
