Fixing the handbrake on a Renault Grand Scenic 3 (Clutch sensor replacement)

The family bus, our 2010 Renault Grand Scenic 3 / III is borked...again. The clutch potentiometer failed rather spectacularly this week, with the lever becoming completely divorced from the rest of the body. So, it's replacement time. While I really want to be working on my EV, the last video I did on the family bus attracted lots of views so I figured another one wouldn't hurt. In this video I show how to remove and refit the clutch potentiometer - the sensor that tells the car when to release the electronic handbrake so that you don't slide off down a hill when pulling out or starting off.

It's weird, even if I'm not working on the EV I hate having to look at other cars in the house. It's like I only have enough attention span to work on one car at a time and resent having to take it off my baby. 🤔 🤣
