It's an honor receiving this comment from the synth creators themselves! Thank you all for making this wonderful machine! Looking forward to create a custom sound pack for the users :)
@infestedalien Hey... we're all one big musical family, right? We seriously appreciate every person who puts their faith in us and the 3rd Wave. You make it possible for us to continue creating new instruments!
Yeah with todays economy inflation it feels in the wallet. But the synth is very powerful 4 x stereo output and 4 part with maximum 24 voices which bringa 4 times 6 voice synth part with possibility for individual stereo output each. So far i love this machine!
Believe and you will receive I recently got an Ams Neve Genesys Black console a ton of s other gear such as Sony C800 and an elysia alpha comp with God all things are possible saith the Lord 🙏
Nice video. Just subscribed. I bout a Moog One and Matriarch a few weeks ago. My first analog synths since I was in 1st grade (1994). So I'm excited to create without being stuck in a computer or keyboard workstation presets.
Thank you! Next upcomming video will be jaspers keyboard stand and how their build quality is! And many more fun videos of sequential / roland etc. Im very curious of what you think of the matriarch! Is it user friendly in calibration etc? Im a bit curious of having a moog myself. Model D would be for me like taking my work home since i work with electronic ensambling, testing etc.
Sorry for a very late reply, thank you so much for showing interest in my patches and the kind words. I have unfortunantly not being considering selling patches tho.
Nice! This is the replacement for the first one? I actually have been THOROUGHLY enjoying the desktop since it arrived. I haven't really touched anything else since it showed up. :D Well, the Syntakt, because that's what I'm controlling it with until I get it cabled up in the studio. However, I've been liking this combo so much, that I haven't bothered to get moving on the cabling yet. :D
Thank you! Yes that is correct, this one was originally sealed and fresh :) Unfortunantly I had two knobs wave env time 1/4 and osc 1 fine tube knob a bit tilted. Groove synthesis support helped me to get it lined up tho and I felt confortable doing that operation since I work as electronic ensambler. So now it's in shape! :) Nice to hear you enjoy your third wave also! Please let me know what you enjoy most of it? For me I find creating "lo-fi, reduced bit-ish" sounds very much! I also enjoy that the sound character can remind me of some old playstation games back in the days :) I think it's the PPG character that makes such cool sounds. I have the same situation now, my 3rd wave took over so much attention from the other things that I need to do some re-organize and cabling! My biggest priority now is to get some good keyboard stands. I kind of like black panther systems since they are very convincing about ergonomics. Else Jasper is a good option but I dubt they are as ergonomic with less effort compared to the black panther systems. :) I really hope there will be a librarian arriving soon for 3rd wave that can handle name change from computer for patches. The python written one groove synthesis has is good for organizing but no way to change patch names yet from computer.
@@infestedalien Have the 3rd wave desktop and love it -- it will go down in history. The analog wave forms make it sounds like a Jupiter8, then the wavetables can be blended in, then it can be turned into 3 or 4 part synths with ample polyphony! About patch renaming on the computer, I've noticed when I look at the factory banks that I downloaded from GS website, it looks like the .PRO files appear to have the params like patch name editable as text. I have not tried editing this myself on the PC and then loading to the synth yet, but given the ease of moving data to the 3rd wave via the USB port (it just shows up as a drive on your computer) I have a feeling it should work.
@@AudioLomtik I agree with you, the only thing i dislike with 3rd wave is the potentiometer not bolted on the panel, the price would go up a bit then i guess. I had bad start first was a b stock thomann sent as a new. The new replacement had 2 knobs tilted. But GS helped me by letting me know they where able to bend back so now its finaly time for getting into it :). Nice idea! I will try this and if it works I will consider program my own python program for this. Im looking forward for next time I will sit down at my 3rd wave!
@@AudioLomtik Hi, I just tried to edit a exported program file with text editor. It worked as we expected! Now I feel motivated in making my own type of librarian. Have a nice day!
Minimoog is nice classic but cumbersome to deal with in music production to swap between patches. I went with Trigon 6 instead. But of corse minimoog has alot of emotional connection and iconic look and feel.
If you mean the synth i think its a bit more 3rd wave than ppg but covers ppg 2.3 i belive. Im not a ppg expert tho. If you mean my custom patches then its like 50/50 of ppg waveform and modern waveform. :)
@@dirkkeersmaekers4343 i think i am not able to answer from experience since ive never used ppg wave. Groove Synthesis says tho this synth do ppg and far beyond.
@@dirkkeersmaekers4343 The PPG vibe is amazing, but if you judge the synth purely on it's VA oscillator options, combined with filters and sound of the signal path, it is still a fantastic sounding synth with an immediate user interface and tons of depth, modulation options, polyphony, etc.. this is a top notch poly synth by any measure.
@kenzoblytheproducertv4934 im open to all synths. I have been looking on waldorf back in the days. I think the sound generator is super cool on them :).
Great demo and fantastic sounds! Thanks for your support in both buying the synth and creating a great video to show off your sound designer prowess!

@@GrooveSynthesisMark You are absolute right! Groove synthesis have my support for 100% and it's very tempting getting the module also.
Fantastic demo of a wonderful sounding synth. Great work on those patches!!
Thank you! 3rd wave is really a nice synth!
Some of these sounds are just insane, and so beautiful. Unfortunately after I checked the price of this synth I almost fell of my chair

Sounds amazing.
Its a dream machine. But i would have paid more if they added bolted on potentiometers to the panel. Over all its very good quality!
Coolest synth since the PPG 2.3
This synth made me discover what a ppg was. Its cool indeed

The sound at 5:40 is haunting, I love it. Good stuff, are you willing to share or sell these?

What monitor is that?
Samsung LS34BG850 Odyssey G8 OLED its an amazing oled!
Same price as a Minimoog so a lot to consider.

@@AudioLomtik I want to point out that the extended wavetable section is super nice by having some analogue waveforms with 8 bit coziness :)
Very big - even the ones without effects.
Sounds good on 1 osc 1 part in many cases :) love it! And with external fx its amazing.
