Love it, thank you for making this video! I've found recently lettering is becoming very popular. Which paper pad are you using to write on? Maybe it would be cool to make a video on your materials and equipment you use?
hi, Will ! i wanna ask that should i design a logo with a image [like animal] , or brand name, or even just the first ward for the brand name? hope u can help me~
Vehzuh - Obviously, you were addressing Will, but here’s my opinion. For me, the Kuretake brushes are better for beginners because it has a firmer tip compared to the Tombow brushes. The Tombow ones have a very flexible tip, and they also have brush pens in a very wide range of colors. If you want an actual comparison of a ton of other brush pens, I recommend checking @loveleighloops on instagram, because they recently did a comparison of over 10 different brush pens.
Have you used Akashiya SAI watercolour brush pens? Was wondering if the tips on those were comparable to what you're using here. I have those, Copic sketch & Pentel Aquash water brush w/ Dr. Ph Martin's waterclours & coloured India inks & not sure which would be best to start with.
Hey Will, I saw a video a while back with options for time management apps that allow you to track the hours spent on work as a reliable way to charge a client and provide them with the invoice and information etc, but I can't remember for the life of me which video it was. Do you have any idea which video it was or can you recommend any you've used in the past or are possibly still in use? Any help would be greatly appreciated, Cheers!
I deasagree your letter form between G and Q . The G have a loop under who goes from right to left and goes up... the Q is like your "G" on video . I m French and have make a lot of travel arround the world, and to much time have sehen some awefull mistake by a Q lettter. Please advise me if I MAKE a mistake ... but i don t think so !!!!
hey will, i actually went on and tried brush lettering after watching your videos last weekend and it is super super fun. I also uploaded my first ever attempt on brush lettering on instagram, please check it out, my instagram is henpy. One question, do you recommend beginners like me to use a lettering guide to practise, it looks really easy on your video, but it is quite hard to do a free hand at the moment? I hope you understand what i meant haha, good videos btw buddy!
I enjoy your videos, keep up the good work. Although as a fellow lettering and calligraphy enthusiast I have to mention that what you're demonstrating in this video is calligraphy. Lettering is when you actually draw the letterforms with outlines and all, instead of writing the letters.
Great vid as usual will!
amazing as usually man

Thank you.
how much does your logo design course cost ?
I'm wondering the same thing. Really only interested in design theory since I have good experience with illustrator and some with hand lettering.
