While I am thankful for all of the modern tools of today to record with, I think there is definitely an art to analogue that you certainly have mastered! I don’t miss cutting and splicing that stuff though that’s for sure! All that aside, just want to add myself to the long list of people who think that you are incredible! I haven’t felt this excited about diving into someone’s discography since Tom Waits or Elvis Costello. Seriously inspiring stuff. Hopefully, I can get a chance to see you play a live show here in L.A. one of these days. Thank you for what you do!
Love this glimpse into your processes. Never would have guessed the lollipop guild reference but now I’ll forever picture that when I hear this song. 😂
isn't that nuts? I get into this altered state sometimes when I'm working, when it's really going the right way... when I'm falling into a space of like... I dunno... not caring what anyone thinks about what I'm doing... then I hit a patch of WTF!
My favorite song on the new album though it changes frequently. Thanks for the glimpse inside and showing what can be done with 7 tracks and a tape machine in this digital world. Though I still can't figure out that sound at 1:20 of the tune :). Love it
The fans gotta eat. Thanks for keeping us fed.
Please keep these coming Mike - you’re an inspiration 👊

Hi Mike, This video is such a treat for your fans like me! Thank you!!
Love the mandolin addition, Mike.
so that's NOT a Mando, but a 12 string that's doubling my jazz master main guitar. I seldom double guitars these days but... this was crying for it

I love this. I wish I could experience this treatment for so many songs. So concise while also being in-depth!
A precious gift for fans, and even more so if we also make music. Beautiful song, a future classic from this album. Thank you very much, Mike!!!
