This is a perfect park. It's so much more than I anticipated. Not only does it capture the spirit of Mario Odyssey with dense and beautifully designed visuals, all the rides are clever designs to mimic game mechanics or pay homage to famous elements of the franchise. On top of that it includes so much interactivity that feels not just like a video game but also like the real Stor Nintendo Worlds at Universal theme parks. Thank you, Kodybits, for gifting us this park and for letting me have a hand in designing the interactive elements.

Constructive feedback: You keep saying you “want to like this park” making it seem like you don’t actually like it, because you’re too stressed to enjoy it. If you’re not having fun, it’s not much fun to watch you. This park was great, but this video was not honestly. Fealt too rushed and not a relaxing experience.
I said want to like this park? I think you might be missing the context of the intro. I wasn't enjoying challenge mode and tossed out the recording, and i said "I want to enjoy the park, so that's WHY Im featuring it on easy mode" Believe me I enjoyed this xD
also the video was 45 minutes before editing. That's not rushing. We said all contestants would have 20 minutes each for this contest. Most people complain that my videos are too long. If you want the full 2 hour long version. I posted it in the comments and description.
I love that his response to your constructive criticism was to correct you. He rushes videos frequently now, ruins innovative parks with his scatter brained half effort and then complains about how much time reviewing others tireless work takes him while still collecting the TH-cam money for it. You can tell by his comments in almost every video this is not where his focus is anymore. He should retire and let Xel take lead. Xel's videos are 1000% more enjoyable to watch.

Mario Kart*** Not Mario Go-Kart.. Just hits the ear wrong haha.. otherwise enjoyed watching you explore the park. And I’d recommend a Switch. There’s tons of TH-camrs who have streamed games on it so shouldn’t have copyright issues.. when I got mine I started bringing it with me to work and I’d play on breaks and during lunch if not hanging out with coworkers. The Wii-U was a great console with a bad name. People thought it was like an add-on to the Wii and it really hurt the sales. The Switch is a great progression. Wish could play on tv and still have screen in hand like Wii-U but there’s plenty of other big improvements Nintendo made. EDIT: also, I played Mario RPG on the SNES mini that came out couple years ago. I had loved Paper Mario and knew it was a (spiritual) sequel to RPG but never had way to play it. Finally was included on the SNES mini. Definitely enjoyed it. I do think Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door are better though.. and Origami King was a big leap back into greatness for the series. It’s the most recent on the Switch and I loved the hell out of it. Very funny, very creative graphics, fun new way of battling that I’d never have thought of.

I played Super Mario RPG Quest for the seven stars I managed to beat that final fantasy character used alot of revives and well when you have maged to get 50 jumps in that special attack is useful. LIkely also due to the challange quests in the game in the hidden area in the guarden. That and the secret gambling casino. I loved it so much hidden stuff. Though it was funny that if you stay in the sweet you have to work there when you go bankrupt then I discovered the rare items you can get so I would purposely go bankrupt then collect as much rare items as I could.
This was amazing! One of my personal favorite creations I seen in Planet Coaster. As a big Mario fan who spent many hours playing Mario Odyssey, I’m blown away by the details and accuracy to the real game. I loved how there kept being surprises, such as the Horror Heights with the Super Mario game history, and the Mario Kart track. By far my favorite Go Kart track I seen in Planet Coaster. This truly deserves to be one of the top parks if not the best of this bracket for the contest.
I used some of these toolkit models from KaiRupix, and even the same castle in my theme park, and while I spent a long time on my giant Mario kingdom it pales in comparison to this one. Magnificent job!
This is incredibly well done! Wow! I have to keep reminding myself that this is Planet Coaster and not Odyssey, it looks exactly like the game! It actually made me want to beat the game a 2nd time now. Absolutely amazing work and attention to detail. I also really loved the addition of the Mario Kart track. Everything in this park was made to perfection and I can’t wait to watch the puzzle element played out! Also, if you’re debating about getting a Switch, do it! I put off buying one for a long time because I didn’t know how much use I’d get out of it, but I finally took the plunge and bought one in July of 2020, and have used it nearly everyday since! There are so many incredible games to choose from (Odyssey being a front runner for sure), including older ports like the games you mentioned playing when you were younger, and the portability factor is amazing. I rarely utilize or watch tv in any capacity, so being able to have something handheld that can be played anywhere without the need for a tv hookup is literally a game changer. I only wish I bought one sooner!
Wow? That’s a mini park?? Jam packed! Gotta agree that the karts really shone brightly. Sometimes over detailing takes away (or hides) basic flaws, but here it fitted the theme awesomely. Excellent work.
26:44 While I have played Super Mario RPG, I still haven't beaten it yet but it is fun. Other Mario RPGs are Paper Mario series and Mario & Luigi series. I played a little bit of Paper Mario and I have beaten a few Mario & Luigi games including Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for GBA and Mario & Luigi: Time Partners for Nintendo DS.
Wow, what an incredible park, been a mario fan ever since I got the SNES, intrigued how you got the coins to spin and have moving cloud platforms, so immersive and ridiculous detail.
If you like 3d Mario Games, absolutely check out Mario Odyssey (which seems to be the main influence for this amazing park). Between this game and Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, they are the reason I purchased my first Nintendo system since the Gamecube.
This is just unbelievable - so much more than I even expected before the spotlight. It’s absolutely packed full and the compositions of each area is just stunning. I don’t think it could have been improved upon. I think you pushed Planco to the limit of what can be created with this one :-)

I can't even say what was my best one because every park so far was just unbelivable.
This looks like Mario completely. It doesn't look at all like planet coaster. Kody has done it again where he makes you think you are in a completely different universe. I remember forgetting we were in Planet Coaster during his Pokemon coaster and the same thing happened here
With super mario odyssey being one of my favorite games of all time (played it a couple years ago), I must say that the theming was spot on and this park was absolutely spectacular!! Hands down the best creation on the channel. There were even some surprises on the coasters and mario kart track! Props to you and all the immense detail you've put into this masterpiece, KodyBits!
I am somewhat new to planco. Ive been playing on consol for about 6 months, and have built one of the highest rated coasters on consol. In my opinion this park is great, but at this point the parks aren't feeling like planco anymore. I started out hating the limitations on consol. But having a percent counter has kept the better builders making mostly 3-8 ride mini parks. But they look great. And in the same time. On the computer version, soooooo many tmtk items and mods have made it seem like its not the true game anymore. And now I have a respect for the piece counter.
