It amazes me this guy has made a huge TH-cam following without ever ONCE asking to "Like-Subscribe-and Click the Bell". He never says it once and he just produces great content!

Sorry to hear about your 120.... I have a 1996 490E with 6700 original hours that's been nothing but a $$$ maker but as you know PM is key to any machines longevity.
Hope you figure out the idling issues and get it back up and running

Check “Dirt Perfect’s” channel, he had the same issue. You can DM him and he can tell you the video showing his problem and how he or the dealership fix the problem. He does about 95% of his own repairs.

I definitely enjoy watching your videos. I am fascinated by the process of clearing land of big timber and the stumps. When you are popping out stumps almost as big as the excavator, it is impressive. We are also paying $5.50 for diesel in Texas.

I keep forgetting that you build them different. In my area we dam a valley so even small ponds are usually plenty deep to leave the stumps in the middle. You have to stump the dam area to get to good base and you might do one side of the shallows to make dock and swimming space but much of it you can leave since they average a lot of depth on top of original ground level. Makes for a tall dam slope on the backside though. But not a lot of fall on this one, so half the depth will be dam and the other part digging and that just seems foreign to me. It is rare to "dig" a pond unless it is a really small one for cattle in a field. More of a watering hole. Those are usually just pushed up with a dozer anyway. Lot of work here but it will be nice when it is done. Beally is going to have a great place once the work is done.

(hurricanes and all).and what is the difference in a scarlet oak and a red oak???

The clearing is going so well. I thought there may be more hazards. But a couple of boggy spots are no match for you.
In Australia there is no way you would get permits to burn in summer. The brush would have to wait for Fall rains. And maybe local fire services on alert too.

Its incredible the difference a thousand kilometers makes. The ground is still rather wet in my area and we are getting more rain every few days. The farmers are struggling to plant their crops. They are expecting a disastrous year. For the last decade, the ground has almost always been dry by mid June, with fires being strictly prohibited. Not this year. On the bright side, I'm expecting a good raspberry harvest.

Five and a alf dollar a gallon for diesel fuel !!!! Current UK diesel pump price $10.51 per gallon, although I'm not sure of the volume of the US gallon. Domestic fuel oil price $1.22 per litre. Strange that the price per barrel of oil has dropped significantly lower than last couple of years. Methinks we're now paying the price for Covid and this 'reset' thing bandied about on the airwaves.

Check out Canadian prices! Last week diesel was $2.39 /L. Gas is running at $2.07/L today, down from $2.13/L a couple of days ago. Four L = 1 US G. Yikes!
