I am curious of what kind of antibiotics did this boy get. I am diagnosed with Bartonella and have taken antibiotics for three months, but it's not yet eradicated from the body.

Tång Ruska Treatment for Bartonella infection varies on a case by case basis. Persistent infections are associated with complex disease processes. There is a patient community on FB called Beating Bartonella that might be helpful.

You might also try the Stephen Buhner website and books for herbal antibiotics like cryptolepsis, sida acuta and others that may help beat bartonella and many other pathogens. There are herbal facebook groups for lyme and co-infections like this.

I was given a tetanus shot and Bactrim 2x day from May 29 to June 10. My foot was badly swollen and bruised from the cat biting and scratching me. Went back to Dr. today June 27 and ball of my foot is hurting and discoloration is beginning to come back on the top of my foot and feels warm with a little swelling. Dr wants a bone scan but did not give me any more antibiotics. Wonder if this is the correct thing to do. I don't have a fever or any other symptoms yet.

Cats can harbor a number of different bacteria in their saliva and under their claws. Bartonella is very slow-growing, but others may be cause for more immediate concern. thanks I appreciate it. Will definitely pass this on. I am afraid of the radioactive shot but am going for it since i guess this is the only way to rule out osteomyelitis. Have to pay $80 up front because i only have medicare.

I do have an infection in the tissue of my foot and now they gave me Levaquin and want me to go to a foot doctor. Is this the proper Dr to see or should i go to an infectious disease Dr? I'm concerned now.
