After travelling through the Black Hills for several years, i still find its beauty special. I can fully appreciate the Native American spiritual reverence. I pray future development is limited, and its natural beauty remains. We must be its protectors.
Great video series. I always wondered what the black hills looked like the rest of the year. Like you, 1990 was my first trip to sturgis. Been 7 times now. Hoping they open the border so I can get down there again this year. Safe travels and keep the vids rolling!!!
Thank you for all of your awesome video's and info, I am bringing my gf for her first Stugis Rally and I'm watching your videos getting excited and geared up and listening to you talking about your love of the Sturgis Rally is getting so excited, im getting that anxious feeling in my gut, so EXCITED!! We are going to be there the first day Friday August 7th thru Tuesday the 11th maybe Wednesday the 12th, it would be cool to meet you while we are there!
I would love to meet you out there but things are not going to work out for the first time in many years it looks like. We're still hoping but it's not looking good to make that trip this year.
There used to be a great chiropracor in spearfish, always referred to her as Dr. DAWN. She was so good she had folks come all the way from Sioux falls to see her. Just kind of a heads up in case anyone gets sore and stiff. Love spearfish canyon drive..right past the area dances with wolves was filmed.
Great video, I have never been to those falls, It will be on my list for this year though, I suppose I have ridden by the turnoff and just didn't see the sign. I liked the picture of you guys in 90, why you havent changed a bit :). Be safe..
Beautiful place, no wonder you went back. Out of interest who are the great looking couple in the picture titled 'Roughlock Falls S.D. 2020' at 19.27, are they related to the young couple with the guy carrying the girl at 20.23??? Just kidding, what a lovely memory to have.
Thanks Paul can't do that no more though my knees would not hold up walking through that water. They've changed it so much I don't even think you can get down there anymore. Sometimes improvements only make it worse

I wouldn't want to take my bike down that road but I have. It's not really too far and it's worth it. Enjoy your time out there. And thank you for your comment and following me down the road

It will only be my 2nd time there for the Rally, first was 2018 and had an AMAZING TIME!!!!

Spearfish Canyon is definitely a great ride but don’t forget the needles highway too.Come through the tunnel and see Mount Rushmore through the tunnel

Yep haven't changed one bit. Except for I got new knees and couldn't carry her across that if I had a gun to my head. LOL
