I enjoyed your ride and commentary. I have the same color with the adaptive cruise control but minus the SOS button here in the U.S.A. I moved up to this bike from my 2015 F800GT. It took awhile to get used to the difference in weight, but the RT is great and I used it on a couple camping trips with no problems. Ride safe.
Just stumbled across your review. Very well done and a great bike. I am currently on the fence whether to change my current 2021 Yamaha Tracer 900 for a BMW. I've visited my local dealer for a look, initially at the RNineT (Not for me in the end, although I didn't ride it) But I quickly noticed the R1250R (And RS) and I'd need to ride both before making a final decision. I reckon I'll probably go down the BMW route, next year. I'd love the RT, but awkward access to my garage would probably put me off due to the weight. New subscriber here.
Unless you are going to ride with a pillion....the Tracer 9 GT is probably the best all around sports tourer available today... Number 1, newmero uno, no doubt about it!!! The RT is a great bike for 2 up touring, the RS is a great bike for fast 2 up touring and R is the all rounder, geat for every day and will tour if needed
@@theloftybiker3090 I took the Tracer 9 GT out for a test ride, and found it most uncomfortable. Seating position pushing me into the fuel tank (!!!), and ride too frenetic.. I went for the Tenere. Great bike, but after over 3K this summer to scandinavia and a sore arse I think I will have a look at the RT
Looks like the seat is in the low position. It is easily adjustable, just take the seat off with the key and there is a device near the tank that you flip over and it raises the seat for a much more comfortable position.
You cannot forget the price...simples. It must be part of you decision......It's nearly £6k thats an NT and an Enfield 650 for the price of a spec'ed RT

Hi from a new subscriber On my 1250 1st to 2nd on the quick shift is getting better with use . other than that is great.
If you had the choice between the RT and your NC1100, forgetting the price. Which would you choose ?

NT engine fueling is pretty snatchy at low speeds. And the connecting of apple play is a real pain.. Reasonable engine tho...
What’s it like getting back on a boxer .. I ride my mates rs and it was very nice indeed I must say
