Thank you for taking the time for your podcast. Love all your wips, both for Nellie and yourself. Her little green dress is precious. She is so lucky to have you making her such beautiful items. Oh, her little knitted pants are so precious at the end of the video in her carryall. Just too precious. Enjoy your knitting and being a mom.
So nice catching up with you! A bunch of lovely projects! Those John Arbon minis would look lush in a Maxine Hot water bottle cover- and thanks for taking the time to film!🎦 ❤
Thank you for sharing your philosophy of make whatever makes you happy. I also do not limit my wips! But as I age I think I need see through project bags, so I can see what is inside, so I do not forget! When I first retired, I found it very helpful to use an over the door shoe organizer that let me see what small projects were in each compartment, and I finished all the wips!
Was that last bit with the walking in Turkey? It looks a lot like some areas of Southern California - and I found it quite beautiful. Oh so many lovely things. The lace on the dresses for Nellie are so pretty and I love that red on you - the long dress you're making. You look happy and that too is lovely. Being a mom - for those who want it - is an incredible experience. Congratulations.
I've missed some episodes. So nice to see you again and your beautiful little girl. She is certainly well dressed!!!!❤ It's amazing how you can still podcast with everything going on in your life. Wishing you the best
Beautiful scenery!!! As always my utmost favorite podcaster, love the inspiration to knit what makes us happy. You are so sweet and love all your FO’s an Wips. Thank you ❤❤❤❤❤
I love all your knitting of course but I am also here for the nature footage you often include 😍 By the way, it was my friend who made the meat comment. She only thought it looked like it in the plate. She turned hers in a beautiful Lento. I don't get any raw meat vibes from either her sweater or Nelli's. More like strawberry mousse 😋
Great to have a useful light for you Inga ❤ It is great it gives you a very similar natural light. I love to see your finished dresses for nellie. I got inspired with your projects to buy some rauma finull and some green yarn 💚 I am in love with your poppy red dress ❤
I always enjoy seeing all your knits and your life with your baby. Thanks for taking the time out of your day to share. I always look forward to watching your podcasts.
I love your knits for Nellie and that lovely blanket as well as the cream one. Your knits are great especially the red dress. The Herring Bone Sweater is a Great knit as well. The light you have obtained is a truly wonderful addition and it is portable too. I have unexpectedly started kntting a scarf. I was given 2 cones of seems to be cotton yarn. The one is a pale Turquoise and I took Size 5 knitting needles and cast on a scarf about 70 stitches. The yarn is one ply and the you have a thickening in the yarn which gives the lovely effect. So soft and I can't put it down. The I have an enormous ball in a lovely beige colour. I am so blessed ❤😊
Thank you Inga! Such a beautiful tour of your neighborhood😊 You are such a prolific knitter! I will be in Norway in the middle of June, Can’t wait to see it for myself🤩
You are such a natural in every way! Love every moment of your podcast! Such an inspiration! Thank you so much for sharing your life with us and showing off your beautiful country! Jus spectacular! Happy Crafting!
I’ve just spent a week in your beautiful country, and had amazing weather. It was a train holiday from Oslo to Bergen and back. There wasn’t much shopping time but there were at least three knitting shops in Voss, which astonished me. I live in Kent, in SE England, and there are very few yarn shops. Lovely podcast, how productive you are!
Love all the colours and textures of the yarns you’re using, especially the gorgeous handspun for the in and out sweater - 🤤 You pick such lovely autumn tones, right up my alley And Nelly’s tulip sweater in that stunning pinky brown Nutiden is one of my favourites from this podcast You wearing the handspun in and out and her in the Aposotrof tulip is a picture I’d love to see
I love how your poppy red dress is coming along, and it is going to look so good on you. It is gorgeous! The Lacebat dress for Nellie is also beautiful! I needed the reminder to go ahead and cast on so I can pick up whichever wip will give me joy in the moment. I have been working on a poppy red linen-cotton tee. My hands want a wooly knit, but I was telling myself I could, just for now, stick to the one project. I'm going to cast on the shawl. It will make me happy to have it started.
Oh Inga I don’t think the tulip sweater looks like raw meat lol I think it’s beautiful!! Your dress is gorgeous! Wow the lighting is really good! Always enjoy catching up with you! I’m with you the more wild the better and I also understand separation anxiety lol! When we had a place at the lake I always had trouble leaving projects there! I couldn’t do it so I understand!! The pictures are beautiful!! ❤❤
Like Nelli, I’m a spring. Those are such nice, clear, happy colors I think! (I also always sleep with something over my face!!)😂😂😂. The Lola dress is adorbs!
Love all your yarns! Pink as someone commented not like raw meat it would be more red?.... like the second pink you showed love it even though I never wear pink it’s beautiful pink! You are such a busy Mummy just don’t know how you get time to knit! Green dress you have knifor Nellie is lovely in fact everything you is gorgeous! Hugs & xx 💜🧶💜
I love that green on the little dress for your baby. I love the baby knits too by the way, even though my kids are in their 20s and my baby is 16. Just fun to see why you are knitting. I have an insane amount of wips because I’ve been getting bored with items so then I cast on something new. I should count them lol.
I agree with another comment ... the pink yarn looks like berry ice cream to me! Thank you for yet another wonderful podcast Inga! I am amazed that you have so many wonderful projects to share with us. I love to see them all ... the baby knits for Nelli are particularly adorable. Thanks also for the footage at the very end showing the wonderful summer day near where you live. I love, love to see that, and Nelli looks so cute in her carrier on your body. 😍😍
Thank you for sharing your beautiful WIPS and Nelly’s precious outfit! And you are so right! Knitting is a beautiful hobby and meant to be enjoyed! To me, WIPS are like money in the bank. And when I’m ready to get back to the project, it is ready for me! ♥️🐑♥️🐑♥️
Next month i will be traveling from the netherlands to my son in Ski Norway. together with my son we will head to the west to see some fjords an i hope to see some yarn. I'm looking forward to what you will share of your roadtrip.
Thanks Inga, have to say the lighting was fantastic, I would not be sending that back. Love the second Nelli dress, colour name was fitting, antique moss. Can't wait for the yarn crawl and stunning scenery as per. ❤
Thanks for the scenes of Norway! There is still snow on the mountains, wow! Enjoyed the podcast, I'm actually thinking of doing that pattern by Jessie Maed, though I've cast on two summer tops at the moment, with a third next in line. So we'll, if not this year, definitely next year. Love Nellie's leggings! And, I don't see raw meat at all in the color of the nutiden, don't even give it a second thought!
This was an inspiring podcast and a reassuring one as well. Like you I have many, many wips, but I am comforted to know that I am not alone as I start new ones quite regularly and finishing is not as common as I'd like. You've presented so many new ideas- Thank you again. And, I like to say that my knits are "meditative" rather than mindless (though they are that as well, too!). And I like those lights, but not sure that they are available in the US. And, Nellie is a very lucky recipient of all of your beautiful baby knits..
What fun knitting for Nellie as she grows😊! I love the green romper/dress and the nice thing is that you have all the i- cord edges to hide those ends,!
Oh my, not raw meat, I prefer to think of it as a beautiful rhubarb (do you have that plant/veg/fruit in Norway). I love that you are venturing way out of your color comfort zone for your little one. It is a portent of things to come, having daughters, grandaughters require us to stretch in many, many ways!!
You look so happy, Inga. Motherhood seems to inspire even more of your creativity, which is such a joy to see. Nelli must be the most beautifully dressed baby in all of Norway, or anywhere for that matter! I just love your free-spirited and guilt-free approach to knitting, always so inspiring. Thank you! P.S. I did not think of raw meat when I saw that lovely yarn, I thought of watermelon.
In the USA it's called a Yarn Shop Hop and during this time there are Free Patterns and Exclusive Colorways during the Yarn Shop Hop. It's always SUPER FUN! I have one WIP on timeout as I am not happy with it and I am working on a Tank Top.
Yea! Another fun video from you , Inga! Thank you for sharing all the works you’re up to these days! I’m nearly finished with my”Inga” inspired sweater! Last of the hem ribbing going on now! I love Nellie’s ribbed pants! I’d love a pair myself! Take care till next time, ClaudiaSJI
Thank you very much for your podcast❤i love listening you, i love your knitting style, you're so talented! I just coming back from holidays in norway, the last few minutes remind me my wonderfyl stay in west coast and lofoten... Take care of you 🌷a french knitter 😉
I also watch AKA Nora Knits, and she just finished a Stripe Hype sweater (by Kutovakika) with the saw color scheme of your triangle blanket. Great combo! Will we see some greens and golds and oranges too?
Hi Mommy! I smiled when you said that English was not your native language. You sound American w the exceotion of certain words that might sound simmilar to Norwegian. Otherwise, every episode you get better & better. Look at yourself on this video & compare it to the 2nd or 3rd episode. You have ALWAYS had great grammar, and pretty great pronunciation. Nobody could fault anything you say/how you say it. However, the added touch to your American accent is the colloquialisms you feel more & more confidence using. I speak French, Spanis, English, & a tiny remaining bit of Italian (I spoke it 40 yrs ago, but the one adult that would always speak it, passed 40 yrs ago). Anyway, if I try Spanish, I don't always end or construct a word the Spanish way, I'll have to debate it in my head, because the other Romance Languages & even English, sound very simmilar. But l rather know other languages than get a word semi wrong every so often. Anyway, you sound great, either American or Canadian. 👍💯😉
Thank you for the lovely pod cast. I enjoy watching your videos and I am inspired to knit lola dress. All through I am not able to find a pattern or catalog anywhere… any suggestions on finding English pattern of lola dress? Thanks ❤
Find a local yarnstore that carries sandnes garn and ask if they cant order in the booklet, or buy from the sandnes garn website together with yarn for one of the projects in the pamphlet
Loved this episode. I have a question for how you catch your floats. I know you catch every 2 stitches but how do you catch long stitches and but keep your tension even? I’m finding that I have to go up to a 4 mm needle to keep even tension with color work but not catching in the same place is making my stitch work bunch up in the long sections…. I’m kind of swatching this color work motif fast and idk if blocking it will help that yet. I’ll see soon. Thank you for a wonderful podcast as usual to knit with! ❤ For example with the Talvinen I’ve had to go up to a 4 mm needle to avoid this bunching up that occurs with my color work…
I also watch The Norwegian Knitter and I think she bought the same red yarn that you did at the mill. She made an Ingrid sweater and now she wants to make a matching one for her son but she will be a little bit short on yarn.Is yours also the poppy color way? Her name is Lena. If you have leftover yarn I know she would appreciate it.
@@knittingtraditions It's Oline, her channel is Norwegianknitter. I love watching her. She is as obsessed with knitting as we are lol. And her son is the cutest. But her Ingrid is out of Peer Gynt.
I just.got.some red yarn in the post and I just cou ldnt put my finger on why I didnt like it. Now I know, THat is exactly the colour. Ive tried pairing it with pink mohair and a bright red mohair but it still.doesnt look nice. I think Ill.have.to have a go at.dyeing it..
Could you please let me know the shade number you are using in the Alize Bella Ombre Batik 100% Cotton Yarn? I am thinking it might be 7404. Thank you so much 🌸🌸
The "raw meat" knit is actually looking like berry ice cream to me 🥰
Same! :D It made me think of blackcurrant sorbet :)
Thought the same , strawberry icecream 😊
As for me, this pink color on Tulip sweater looks like antique rose 🌺 I’m not a pink person, but this color is beautiful ❤
Or crushed strawberries🍓
I second this. I didn't get that at all. A vintage rose!
Definitely the Color of dried rose petals, beautiful, not gorey!
Is there a pattern for those little pants? and what yarn did you use? looks like a self striping sock yarn!
Thank you so much!
It was a gift for her, the yarn is a selfstriping regia yarn🙌🏻
So nice catching up with you! A bunch of lovely projects! Those John Arbon minis would look lush in a Maxine Hot water bottle cover- and thanks for taking the time to film!🎦 ❤

Big Norwegian bag is similar colour of your sweater you are wearing ha! Ha! Xx 😘
You should! Its a timeless knit so no rush getting it knit up😁💕
This was an inspiring podcast and a reassuring one as well.
I like that, meditative indeed😌 They ship worlwide if youd like🥰
That cotton ombre yarn is beautiful and your blankets make me wish I knew a baby to knit for.
Thank you! 😊
What fun knitting for Nellie as she grows😊! I love the green romper/dress and the nice thing is that you have all the i- cord edges to hide those ends,!
You should definitely craft what you enjoy.
We do! We eat it alot in summer😁
Wauw, what a beautiful WIPS… Thank you for sharing… Nelli is wearing such nice clothes.. I love the pants with the many colours 😊
Thank you so much! It was a gift, nothing better then gifting knits to knitters💕

I also watch AKA Nora Knits, and she just finished a Stripe Hype sweater (by Kutovakika) with the saw color scheme of your triangle blanket. Great combo! Will we see some greens and golds and oranges too?
Probably! I got some more green and orange atleast:)
If the Raw meat Color bothers you just embroider or Duplicate stitch some designs on it and that will become the focal point. Love your knitting.
The pink sweater looks like wild clover to this Nodaway farm girl
Thank you
