That’s not even how you do it all you have to do is press the home button go to Controller image and click Dualsense Wireless controller and Just hit Turn off.

i'm a PC player but i use the PS5 controller with games like FIFA 23, F1.. etc, and the controller being on after i close the game was annoying to me and this fixed the problem!, thank you for the video.

This is the long and hard way which is same when you connect t the control to pc however, go to The drop down where the control is and hit the options button. And select disconnect, literally take you 2 seconds

Yeah, you could press the Play station logo and choose the controller option, there will be the turn off option.
