If you're into heavier music you might need a set of 4 toms and 2 crashes, something like this goo.gl/05b3jN . You can replace the bass or the snare with a mesh head pad later if you want. I would say an e-drum kit is a smart choice for a first kit because they're always useful in many ways while a cheap acoustic kit is not. Your second kit should be a decent acoustic kit though. If you need help with anything just comment here or send me a message!
