sir, you said acute inflammation is mostly all about neutrophils, and macrophages come into play during chronic inflammation? Do macrophages not have any role in acute inflammation? Because while I was studying Acute lung injury I found macrophages play an important role like neutrophils.

Few days back my report showed neutrophilia but doctor it was vira infection. Also azithromycin was ineffective. Why so???? According to ur lecture it should have been bacterial infection. Kindly explain
