@@MalteJanduda tried this today to enable PFD ENTRY of the flight ID in the transponder config page. It returned message WAITING. Then it said configuration failed. Does the avionics master or engine need to be on in order to modify transponder config?
@@jasonchipkin I think you need the avionics master to power on the PFD but also the transponder. I guess the configuration will be pushed from the PFD to the transponder. Therefore the transponder must be powered up.
@@MalteJanduda That's what we thought. Darn! Next time. Do you know if when it's set to PFD ENTRY it reverts back to registration after power down (for next person)?
Should we enter configuration mode while the PFD & MFD are already on? Doing that by switching master switch off or taking out the PFD CBs?

how i active the configuration mode
hold the ENT Button on the PFD and then power up the PFD, while still holding the ENT button.
