Terrell....get a can of Bright spray paint to mark the wood on the culvert so you know exactly where it is once you find it. Will make finding it easy next time.....

If you had a Bobcat E08, only 3 1/3' wide, you could dig out those dams really quick. It fits in your kitchen and between the trees too.

Terrell: You really need to spend a day or five cleaning up the edges of the creek with some machines. There is to much there for the beavers to use. You deprive them of easier to get building materials. The dam you just tore a hole in will patch that over night. They might not even wait for night to start repairs. I have seen a lot of people do the same thing and then wonder why the dam is back the next day. Clear about 3 metres (10 feet) either side. Get rid of the trees that have fallen over the creek and on the banks of the creek. It might take a week but the upside is that you will be able to tell at a glance where the beavers are building unless you really piss them off and they leave.

Think maybe marking the culvert pipe once the water goes down might be a good idea. Not the pipe but on the bank where the pipe is located.

Make shift a campsite grill to cook things on as you tear down those dams.

Does anyone remember the Looney Tunes series of cartoons featuring Ralph Wolf and Sam Sheepdog? I'm starting to believe that Terrell and the beaver have a similar arrangement where they punch the same time clock and greet each other before Terrell goes off to dismantle one dam while the beaver heads off to repair another. 😉

you need work smarter not harder make a boat anchor or a hook and then comealong off on of them trees cut your work in half
You need to get someone out there to trap the beaver for you so you don't have to keep busting up beaver dams.
just don't do extra work than you have to. set traps for them. than you can go do other jobs.
