- I've been waiting for Hobby Lobby's annual yarn clearance, and it finally arrived! Today, I'm sharing my experience with this year's sale.

Wonderful! I went by my hobby lobby this morning...I was dying to check it out. I ended up getting some Alpaca twist and comfy classic in the ocean mist color that I'm always admiring. So glad I was able to get something! I'm also in Tennessee 😉

Did it appear they were discontinuing the Glowing that you returned?
Yes, that's what it seemed to me. All the colorways were marked clearance, and I think there were only a handful to begin with. Hope that helps!

Great haul! Glowing is my favorite yarn and Sage in Song my favorite colorway. I made my friend a scarf and hat in it along with the care instructions and she’s okay with it.

Yaaay!! You made it. I completely forgot about those boxes. I like the Glowing yarn but not my cup of tea. I’m definitely gravitate towards more neutrals or solids.

You know, I stopped by a Hobby Lobby this past weekend just to see if anything was left, and I was surprised to find that there were still some red tags on the shelves. I guess every store is different, so you never know!
Oh my, you made some lovely choices! I've got to say, HL's annual sale stresses me! I have 2 HL's 45 minutes away, but in opposite directions. I did catch the beginning of a sale in a town over an hour away; I think I made some good selections. I'll check out another one Monday. Thanks for sharing your yarn and excitement!
Ahh, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one riding that rush when it comes to these clearances! It's a dance between hope and fear and peace and contentment. Glad you were able to get some goodies! 💖💖
Anyone know why ILTY isn't on clearance?
Yes! They do two clearances. This one is only for yarns that they are no longer going to produce - like the alpaca blend, or yarns that other companies are discontinuing like Lion Brand Scarfie Lite. Later on in the year, they will clearance out certain dye lots of their "workhorse" yarns like ILTY and ILTC, but those are yarns that are in continual production. Hope that helps! 💗💗
Both stores in my area haven't started it really yet and the one store said it would be at least another week before they got to trying to start the sale😭😔

Our Hobby lobby never has the yarn clearance. The only sale on yarn sale they have is the 30% off every other week plus I have to drive over an hour to get to the nearest Hobby Lobby

I went to HL yesterday, and yarn was not yet on clearance. 😢 I called today, and they said not yet! I’ll be there first thing tomorrow. With fingers crossed. ❤

Thanks for sharing! My Hobby Lobby had all the same yarns on sale as yours. I also noticed that bright colored glowing and how beautiful it was, but left it behind because of the care instructions! I picked up a good amount of the Soft Stitch too, looking forward to working with it.
