This video helped me save my airbrush because I didn’t know what I was doing taking my it apart to clean it 😢but I watched this video and put it back together and did an even more cleaning to my brush 😊thank you for making this video
I use a Master G22 and I haven't cleaned it in months. After each painting however I use an airbrush cleaner and run some through the airbrush then leave a bit in it until the next time I use it. I haven't had any issues with the airbrush not being completely clean.
Good video. Thanks. I need to get some of those cleaning brushes. The graphics and music made it feel old-school 80s or something even though the vid is only 4 years old. Don't know if that was intentional or not, but it made me smile. 😁
I made the mistake of leaving paint in my airbrush and using the wire brush that come with my kit to clean the inside of my color cup is there anything I can do to remove the scratches?( polishing compound, scratch remover) they're not at the bottom where the needle sets there more along the middle ways of the cup is it going to be fine? Thanks
Very informative. Considering purchase of a double action brush, haven't had one of those, so this is helpful. Sound seems to be pretty seriously out of sync as it plays back for me.
Thankyou for your video, I purchased an airbrush, but when i tested it with water, only air comes out but when I completly remove the needle , then it sprays water. I have adjusted all the knobs and tightened the one holding the needle, still only air comes out. please can you help
Really great video explaining this process! I'm new and getting ready to use it for the first time so this was really helpful. Here's my criticism... in future videos, maybe don't use that techno beat as background music. The constant high squeal beeping pitch is so annoying. Once you hear it, you can't "not" hear it for the rest of the video. The bass groove isn't bad but damn, the beeping is relentless. Anyway, very clear instructions and great video!
awww..thanks man, so glad we could help ya out.....nothing more frustrating than to hear someone isn't having a good experience due to a dirty airbrush!
You forgot to warn people about the worlds smallest O ring, that usually pops off the threads of the fluid nozzle. Mine always does. Put a new sheet of copy paper down before disassembly.
Watched this video specifically to see where that tiny o-ring came from and was disappointed to not see any mention of it. How do you get it back on the nozzle threads? I have a problem with hand tremors and it’s pretty much impossible
I can’t remove the needle, it was not retracting since the beginning and that why I’m trying to disassemble but I can’t I’m gonna leave some cleaning fluid there overnight to see if it looses
The needle cap? It's more or less a part to hold everything in place while also keeping the inner most components clean from over-spray. All three of the components on the front of the airbrush is to make sure there is an even and steady stream of paint. The most important part is your fluid nozzle. Make sure to keep that clean. Hope this helps.
Pulling the needle completly through the back is a noob move. dont do the shit, especially if you just finished a sentence about the integrity of the brush and how to not damage it. You pull the needle slightly back, then detach the nozle and stuff from the front. After that you pulle the needle through the tip. Why? Well there will be stuff that may escape your initial cleaning process. With pulling the needle back, you pull a lot of that into the brush. Dont do that and your brush will service you longer. Otherwise, great vid.
@@MutsuKazuma dont talk about stuff you have obviously no clue about kiddo. Harder/Steenback feature a special nosle system, that allows you to switch on the fly between different needle sizes and different nosle tips without the use of any tools like you would need with a fe iwata.
that is a trigger regulator, it allows you to regulate how far back the needle goes. open all the way..... 1/2 way....3/.4 etc. Controls the output of your paint
The maintenance of these air guns is why i only use it once in a great moon. I cant stand the constant maintenance of the tiny guns its so frustrating. Good on anyone who can keep up with this hobby.
Pulling the needle out backwards is wrong and what do you do with the tons of water contaminated with paint? Easy in the cast? Environmental awareness is not your thing.
Putting the airbrush on your fingertip and pressing is very gangerouse, not a good thing to show inexperienced people, you can oxygenate your blood and that is very bad for your health

Thanks for this video! This airbrush comes with hardly any instructions so it’s nice to have such a thorough guide.
Great video but why are your fingernails cut like claws?
2 pull the dry paint off the needle i would think..
Char Aznable I had to come to the comment section just to see if anyone else noticed that. 🤣🤣🤣
Disgusting nails🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
Yup this was the comment i was looking for 😂🍿
Damnit, now I can't see anything but his nails! How did I miss that earlier??
Thanks so much. Totally helped me. I'm a first timer!

This man is genuinely genious for using water as a filter and to clean. No harmful chemicals in the air all going straight into the water.
Best advice I have seen so far, thanks
Thank you so much I have been looking for this for awhile now.but when I put my needle back in it comes through is that right?
Great job, you make cleaning very easy. The way you show and explain you could be a professor
Good video. I have a Electric Coloring Spray Gun for Painting does will work as well? Please reply. Thank you.

Thanks for this tutorial. I would not have known to back the spring guide out one half turn. How often do you lubricate your airbrush?
How would you change o ring u said was under cup area. If it's damaged would u get bad blowback
Thank you so much it is soo helpful for me 😊
Excellent narration and video
Thanks for the video. Makes me more confident disassembling my airbrush. As you know, "A clean airbrush is a happy airbrush".
and a happy airbrush is a happy painter.

Hahahah
This appears dazzling! Simply cannot be patient to discover a lot more like this. Great job.
thank you so much! Patience is all it takes

What do you do if the auxiliary lever becomes detached from the spring guide? It seems to be to big to slide back into the spring guide
What do you use to clean it with you don’t tell us
Good comprehensive video! Thanks
Why are the replacement cutaway handles so hard to find? All the replacement parts kits have standard handles.
Thankyou for your video,

Thank you! Took 1min to reassemble! I love this airbrush for base coating it is so much better than spray can
This is so helpful, thanks so much for the clear explanation!

Sometimes you have to use the wrench that comes with the airbrush to get the nozzle off
You forgot to warn people about the worlds smallest O ring, that usually pops off the threads of the fluid nozzle. Mine always does. Put a new sheet of copy paper down before disassembly.
Thats why pros dont use o rings and use bee wax instead^^
@@Presbiter I never thought of that!!!

I have great problems with paint dust over the paint surfaces and i guess it is the cause of my decals silvering. What say you about ?
I can’t remove the needle, it was not retracting since the beginning and that why I’m trying to disassemble but I can’t I’m gonna leave some cleaning fluid there overnight to see if it looses
On the very end of the air brush what is the little cap with the hole in it used for

Is it possible that you might not have to ever take it apart to keep it clean?

harder and steenbeck explicitly tells you not to do that cause you will damage the seal
@@MutsuKazuma Sorry - they say not to do which? Pull it through the back or pull it through the front?
why angry😂😂

You saved me from breaking my leaver thank you so much
I wanting to know about the other end past the handle? ??

Excellent. Very informative.
How do you get to the O-ring (or teflon seal) that surrounds the needle within the body?

those talons - they for fightin'?
I can’t open that lid of the cup
Thank you
Helpful video!!!
thanks, very helpfull
Also I keep breaking my nozzle what am I doing wrong?
Too much force reinserting the needle maybe?
Thank you...... the music makes me wanna take suspicious pills and dance with mediocre girls 😆 🤣 😂
A friend said i can use 91 isopropyl alcohol to clean my airbrush
No I’m not saying this to be mean so please don’t be offended but could you put on some gloves next time your nails are frightening

Wassup wit dem pointy ass finger nails? J/K! Very informative video.
Using a brush is by definition "abrasive" 🙄
Why are you filing your fingernails to a point like that? Who are you trying to kill? Those are deadly weapons!
How to ruin an airbrush (inserting steel cored brushes)... 🤣🤣🤣
OK, I'm new at this so tell me what else is there other than steel cored brushes?
@@graywoulf Interdental Cleaning Brushes they are all plastic sucks for cleaning between teeth but works great for cleaning airbrushes
Hey thanks for the suggestion! I would have never thought of using those. 👍
Jesus, I hope you've gotten rid of those gross ass pointed finger nails in the last two years.
Thanks for the informative video, but what in the world is going on with your fingernails? lol

What's with the nails cut like that? 😅 look like my cat's claws
