Does anybody know the names of the demo songs on this one? I know some of them, but would like to hear the real versions of the others, of they're actual songs.

Sadly this keyboard has the dreaded power but no sound so I’m going to attempt to fix. I purchased a soldering kit and a capacitor. That should be fun. I’m just wondering which power adaptor I can buy for this model? The manual is recommending a PA-1 or PA-4 but I don’t see anything online with those numbers, so I’m confused. 😬
Yeah, it's not too picky on power, as long as the polarity is right and the voltage is good. Amperage draw isn't much to be worried about for any modern power adapter. I actually bought a Yamaha PA-130 for another device that works fine on this one. I'm actually having another power problem myself: The power jack only works if I pull the plug at a hard angle and keep pressure on it just right. I've re-touched the solder joints and they're solid. The jack itself must be broken, that or pressure on the power board is making some other cold solder joints work. I'm sure it's not the plug or wire. It works fine on battery power...

Hmm I’d say there’s a blown capacitor or other component in the amplification module. There’s no easy “hone remedy” but a technician will have no trouble locating and replacing it. They’ll also tell you it’s not worth fixing, but if the item has meaning and worth to you, then it may well be worth the $100 (approx).
The demo tunes are simply amazing. I used to trick my parents it was actually me playing 😄

The inputs/outputs are in the back because if you have speakers or if you are trying to connect to a computer. It's better that way

I would just buy a multi-volt DC adapter from a department store. Usually cheaper and much more versatile.

I just bought this model at a goodwill for $9. It looks like it’s in pretty bad condition. Any recommendations on restoring it? Worth it?
Buy a can of alcohol spray and wipe it over, see how it looks then. The spray is really useful stuff to have anyway :)
We just got one used. Are battery's required for speaker. Power light is on but not making noise
No, the speaker should work if the light is on.
Are the keys weighted? I am looking for a keyboard that the keys feel like a piano so they have weight to them. thanks!
@@Tromeo531 no the keys are not weighted. they're not even semi-weighted, but at least they're not spongey like an M-Audio controller I had recently.

I've fixed the same problem by desoldering and cleaning the volume potentiometer
Has anyone ever had the issue where it turns on but no sound comes out?
Anything inside the headphone socket, like the remains of a plug or any other bit of metal?
