To set enter the edit mode and to set the times for the various events, it is important to understand you must press and HOLD the "Unlock" but for THREE SECONDS. Then everything becomes pretty much self-explanatory.
I just bought 4L with single bowl one.. the max portion is 40 as well. but it seems to vend the food very little, maybe 1/10 of your 40 portion. is there any way to increase the amount per serving? or something wrong with the machine I received?
Does anyone understand how the portions work? There zero documentation on portion. I’ll guess I’ll just manually start at 1 and see how much it puts out
I can set the portion to any size and it only ever spits out a tiny amount. It ignores the portion size setting. I bought 2 units because I have 4 cats and they both units have the same problem. portion setting does not work at all!!
hi. I cannot get the volume loud enough? But do you know how to reset thing to zero. I did some things and now it just runs and runs when I plug it in?? of course that is not what it should do. I need a total start over?
Ibought this in the fall of '23 and it worked ok. Just pulled it out to use while out of town and it does not work, not even the manual option. Waste of money.
You have to be really loud when you record it. I have a porcelain bell and I recorded the ring. It played the bell really loud that my cats can hear it from the other room.

time is the first thing that you change after hitting set. after clicking set a few more times its about the time of the meal
Hey hopefully this helps set up clock on 24 hr time along with timers on 24 hr time.
Google 24 hr time for correct set ups of all clock and timers.
