Awesome rebuild, you did a great job, putting the right grease into the right place and cleaning the motor from old gunk, and washing the device from surface dirt and stains, keep up the good work 👍

I followed your video and turned a tool that didn't work into one that did. Amazingly useful video, thanks a lot ! I think one of the big bearings had fallen out somehow.
Given the amount of dirt etc in this tool it suggests it lasted a long time before failure. I may get one of these…should last this homeowner a long time for infrequent use. Nice work, great skills. Thanks.
For anyone with the same problem , I took apart mine and the motor when dropped can move forward where the fan inside wedges into the permanent magnets , take a small soft face hammer (or a metal one idc) and give it a few taps to seat the shaft back where it should be and it'll be perfect again
Most likely he snapped or forgot to reattach the led clip , the LEDs are separated from the main electronics by a removable connector ( my drill had a problem similar)

It seems more powerful than my older one, and it can be set to be really gentle. The drill is more appropriately sized for my use. I used to have a hammer drill, but I did not like that it was so big and it was not a great hammer drill. I rather have a smaller drill like this, and then get a corded hammer drill for the odd case I need that.

impact driver, mainly for screws, and some small bolts.
I've got one, has a lot more torque than you'd imagine but getsvin tight places and light.
So what was fixed that caused it not to work in the first place?
I think there was a piece of grit stuck under one of the brushes on the motor. Not really sure.
