This times it's a three-party coalition versus a three-party coalition. It's Sena versus Sena election. And a Pawar versus Pawar contest.
Jist looked at the six regions in Maharashtra and found indications of why the state has seen coalitions governments for over three decades. In each region, the grip of the traditionally dominant parties may have weakened but each is driven by the urge to protect their legacies.
