I got alot of thumbs up about my video game idea.. If you're gonna remake a video game, keep the originality. People revert to old school because those ideas worked. I cant stand a bad video game or movie sequel/remastered. Like MK4, or Creepshow 3, Christian Bale as batman..lol., or Duck Tales remastered.. ass. Totally different game. Not remastered.
This deserves more views.

It is Drop C, that is: C G C F A D. I seldom use any other tuning, as such I also utilize pretty heavy gauge strings, i.e: 11 15 18 32W 44W 58W. Hope this helps.
Man, this is outstanding work! Extremely powerful, but not going crazy with a bunch of unnecessary notes and beats like some other video game renderings: its trusting in the power or the original, but bringing it to life. This is the type music i would listen to video game or not, i would other artists follow this lead.

I've always liked this song, even from the video game, it rocks!
The first few times I'd listened to this, the sound struck me as familiar, try as I might, I could not place why and it bothered me.
Then I see this comment. I can definitely hear the Katatonia influence in the sound, very nicely done, good sir!

This is awesome!!! When I was a lot younger I was an avid video game fanatic and one of the games I absolutely loved was Altered Beast. The game play was actually quite boring and not really that difficult but I didn't care about any of that with this game. The theme itself hooked me in and of course "power up" I absolutely loved it. I am also a metal head I love hard rock and heavy metal. Combining my favorite style of music and one of my most favored games from long ago is AWESOME!!!

This music artist has captured the spirit of this music. The additional instrumentation is not as blatent as other covers, its not bad either but THIS cover sounds so pure and roars to the original music that I can't help but feel a strong familiarity to it. It well and truly takes me back to at least the Saga Megadrive, since that's the version I played and I thank you for this!]:3

They Remade "Altered Beast" a few Years Back..but seems it Never came to the US. This would've been Great to use this Version of the Song too. I Love finding Remixes like this!
