DISGUSTING $10 hotel in El Nido, Philippines

- For the first time on this trip we had to move hotel without staying even a night. Our accomodation in El Nido turned out to be pretty disgusting and it was not somewhere we wanted to spend a night. We have loved the Philippines and El Nido so far, this will not change our mind in any way but wasnt the best experience.

😂 true I guess, but we have stayed in a few $10ish accommodations on our trip and none of them were as bad as this, a lot of them were very nice

Well if the price is cheap, expect the quality..better search for a bit expensive then quality will be served! And also you can ask for the owner or receptionist to replace the bedsheet or all the linings with stain..Peace ya'll
Have stayed in plenty $10 accommodation throughout SE Asia and never had anywhere as dirty as this

What do you expect for $10, a five star hotel? You are lucky you have a bed. That's only almost a gallon gas price in the US.
We have travelled many countries in SE Asia and it’s the norm to pay $10 for a decent clean room. Don’t expect 5 stars, a bed without blood stains would do fine 😂
I would put the same title. Gotta call these lodging out so people would know not to waste their money. I’ve heard compare to other SE countries the 🇵🇭 is more expensive. Glad you were able to find a better accommodation.

I don't like your caption "Disgusting" I feel sad. You could write it like " not clean or not fresh " we been traveling a lot. but never complained like you do. 10$ is only for bread not for bed.
My best tips! Bring with you a thin bedsheet & towel that you can buy in the camping store. Or sleeping bag.

Honesty is the best policy! We travelled the Philippines for a month and every night the hotels/hostels/home stays were amazing, apart from this night when it was disgusting. The price is set by the hotel, if they need to charge more to make it clean they should as that is a very basic requirement of accommodations. We loved the Philippines as well! 🇵🇭
Yes I agree "Honesty is the best policy" and the basic requirements for hotels , accommodation in general it should be clean. But is it really necessary to used the word disgusting?

Just because 10$ for a room works somewhere else in SA, doesn't mean it'll always be like that in the entire SA! 😂 I see a lot of these so called travelers acting like they've been scammed on a clearly super duper budget accommodation. 10$ a night isn't even a steal, that's meant for those who really can't afford to travel in a more comfortable way. So maybe you should stop comparing places and prices. Palawan is a very hyped tourist destination that's clearly not so developed compared to others. Sorry but I find these types of videos hypocritical. When I went to a 1st world country thats so hyped up for tourism , guess what? Not even my 100eur a night can give me a decent place. Everything is relative.
I mean if your happy sleeping on other peoples blood for $10 a night that is your choice. We sure wouldn’t be. We stayed at a beautiful place about 2 miles from here for 5 nights at $13 a night.
@@aimeeandleetravel that is precisely why I wouldn't book a 10$ per night room and complain that it lacks basic decency! All of this can be avoided if you read through the inn's reviews. However, an honest review is always needed and this is very helpful to future traverlers out there.
