Welcome to the militia gaming community I’m trigger militia and this is the second video in a series I like to call “You are using the wrong Engine.” In this video I’m taking you on a deep dive into the engine offerings of the 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX.

Thanks for your buildout vids. I used to love the RSR, but this Evo IX has amazing handling by foregoing the regular brake and using ebrake only. Turns on a dime and sticks to the road on medium curves. I've only driven about 10 different cars though

Nice to know I’ve been doing engine swaps the correct way. Quick tip: adding super track suspension to the lancer barely effects your corner taking but adds .02 acceleration.

And also shout out to you, your doing what very few TH-camrs do. I’ve bought a lot of cars and bought 3 engines on each and was going to make a TH-cam , test out the data and give people the information they need on these cars.

Thanks for doing these I for videos I just subscribed my self. I do have an idea of something that may be worth adding. I understand your comparing engines but I feel that it would be good to also inform the rest of your set up as well. Due to suspension, tires, clutches and gear box can add or take away certain performance specs of the car. So like I used this set up with each engine or blah blah blah. But keep the videos coming love what your doing!!

Man thank you I'm an old school nfs player I've played all but 2 nfs games I was beast with the Evo on Carbon its my favorite Car....I am at rep 12 soon as I hit 16 it game over...lol
So everyone know the 562 motor can be used in the lancer as well as a Volvo 242 (this is also the best motor for this car) a subru sti 06 and a couple other cars so if your cheap like me and don’t want to buy more than you have too then this may be useful to you
There are two 562 HP 3.8L engines, the V6 is from the Nissan GT-R R35, while V8 is from the McLaren 570S.

Nice video the Lancer was my last car I bought before I finished out the story in a Z06. Can you do an engine build for that one? I've got mine at 400+ but if there's a way to make it faster I'd love to know.

That’s the engine I’ve bin using on all my cars lol works good on most of them not all of them
Hey man I’ve subed to you. First build vid I watched. I use Race tires on all my cars because in the info it says they help find the best correct line through corners and helps accelerate through them. Track tires give too much grip. Also my downforce is always all the way down to low so that helps with higher gear/speeds if you really want to know what the car is at it’s highest potential that is the setup I believe should be used. Hope to hear your thoughts on that
For the purposes of testing the engines I leave the live tuning options alone. As far as down force goes, I prefer a little down force so the car doesn't feel like a kite in the corners I also think different live tuning options would suit different races. I mean you could get super detailed with this game if you want to. I also prefer track tires because It compliments the way I drive better. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I've read that the Evo IX is in general the better car, but the X is better for offroad, is that correct? Great content by the way, you're always the source I trust

You talk about lot of youtubers asking for subs and likes and how you are different and thankful but instead you could just outright ask for subs and likes directly instead of implying it indirectly. If you really didn’t care about subs and likes and are really just thankful then you need not have that line in every video and its description.
But video wise great job as always. Keep at it.

Could you do a video about the wrong build of the lancer evo X? I don't know what I did of wrong at mine, it doesn't have a good handling.
Aerion is my favourite Race Track, i did under 3 minutes there but with the Porsche .
