Thank you so much for taking us with you on such a wonderful walk - I love the way that it begins in the quiet outskirts and ends in the vibrant center; what lovely canals you have!
I love watching canal walks, they are so beautiful and green and this Lancaster Canal definitely is. Gorgeous walk Dave, really appreciate it, thank you. 🥰
Another cracking walk, many thanks Dave. Reminds me of the very pleasant towpath walk between Moore and Lymm in Cheshire, on the Bridgewater Canal. Happy daze indeed. Keep up the great work, much appreciated 🙏🏼
@@DavesWalks …and you might well finish your walk with a well-earned pint in the Bull’s Head, right by the humpback bridge in Lymm village! Keep on wandering, mate, best wishes👍
Awesome more walks along the canals and in Lancaster which is very beautiful here with nice scenery and I like seeing the nice house boats tied up in the canals, this is a really great walk out in the country and another great video thank you Dave.🇬🇧🇬🇧
I like canal walks because I feel one step removed from civilisation but not completely isolated knowing that it's going on not too far away. Canals are like portals between different worlds and I never know what I'm going to find when I come off....and suddenly I'm back to civilisation and people.
Hola querido amigo.
Love the first stretch of towpath with the overhanging trees. You certainly struck lucky with those swans. I expect viewers are always suggesting new walks but you really should consider going over the top of Bosley Cloud on a nice day and then heading down to the canal for a stroll up the Bosley locks. 12 of them l think. Would make a terrific walk.
golly the metal bridge at 1.09.09 is where in the early 1960s to mid 60sI would go to get away from the violent teachers ( male and female ) + school bullies at the methodist secondary school I attended.. I played truant to get away..
My favorites are the canals! I loved this. Looks like a bit of heaven.

what a spectacular spread of white flowers beside the path. (early on) couldn't identiy them, though.
I believe all the white flowers are from wild garlic. I'm not 100% though.
