I had to share this with you- so here is a chatty video where I reveal my biggest struggle in Canada. Also, I exhausted my savings for something, which you will see in the video.

I can see and feel your passion. Its good that you do what makes you happy, literally when you are happy you make others too happy.
Always get square shaped food storage boxes, saves space in the fridge.
And your cutting technique is good, if you keep at it youll become a pro. Or you can invest in a handy chopper and never worry about chopping again.

Pooja! Love your vlogs! Being an Indian born and brought up in Canada it’s so nice seeing a different perspective! Watching you speak about cooking, girl! I feel that sentiment so hard! The best purchase I made during quarantine for me and my fiancé in an instant pot! That daal and rice you made would have been done in 30 mins in the instant pot! It’s so great for Indian dishes of all kinds cuts the time in half and comes out perfect everytime. You’ll never need your pressure cooker again! Also there are so many TH-cam videos on Indian recipes you can make in it! Total game changer!

Put the whole peeled onions in the freezer for 5-10 mins (take it out before it starts to freeze)....and then chop or slice. There will be no more tears. Alternatively keep them dipped in cold water for approx 10-15 minutes and then chop :-)

I'm sorry that you have to invest in an expensive camera. I appreciate that you continue to vlog because you're keeping it real, and that's what people like to see instead of all fluff all the time. Life is not just fluff. There are rough patches that we go through. That's why you will continue to have positive feedback from your viewers(like me,;). Moving forward, please do not try to spend too much money, even though it may be money well spent on your behalf. Canada is just as expensive to have the lifestyle that you want. Hi Pooja! You can get all the home stuff including groceries from COSTCO Canada. Its pretty cheap there and also they have furniture, kitchen stuff etc

Here's a tip to help with the onion thing, whenever you start to get teary eyed just put a pinch of salt on your tongue and close your eyes for a while, I dont know if this will work for you but it works for me. Also I live your videos, keep doing what you do

I did the touristy thing when I was living in NY and Atlanta, GA. I did it recently in Los Angeles(where I currently live). I make time and absorb the moments, and I loved it. Like a staycation. Life's too short not to enjoy it.

Hi pooja.... Have a tip for u just peel onions cut it into 2 halfs n soak it cold water for sometime before chopping then u won't get tears.... N also buy one hand onion chopper belive me that makes the job super easy... Wel al the best...

You can peel the skin completely n store all your onions in a fridge, the vegetable box for a week...that way you will not not save time with your prep but also not have a teary eyes...but you have to peel the skin of else it will leave some water when stored

Cutting onion tip, keep tap water running and cut onions besides the sink. It does help prevent tears i do this so often
In future you can get food processor which is like my best friend ...you can use for chopping the veggies, making a paste to making a dough on a daily basis
Hi Puja! You can use a electric/hand chopper if you have for veggie chopping. Easy and fast.
It's a good investment I would say. Video quality is waayy waayy better when recorded in Camera than Phones. Congrats on your new asset and hope to see better videos ahead !

I put my onions in the freezer or refrigerator for 15-30 minutes before I cut them. Helps a great deal.
