Thats just the surfice take in terms of issues. For starts, no japanese audio during the arcade ending quotes, no music during story mode, an extra 6gb of extra date which is pointless(there is a steam guide on how to delete it btw) and no multiplayer. What worked for me when the game ran at 30fps was just restart the game and it worked flawlessly afterwards. CSE has this sort of issue too and the fix is the same :)
it's straight up just it randomly launches pseudo locked at 30 or it runs regularly at 60 *entirely randomly* and the only way to "reroll" is to restart your computer. "is this a day where BBCT will let me play it?" is a real question and it's awesome. i love old pc ports
I played Centralfiction and it ran great on my PC but Calamity Trigger runs pretty bad for me too but I've seen videos of it running smoothly so it's gotta be a settings thing EDIT: I've discovered it helps to restart the computer
This was my first version of Blazblue I ever played. Thankfully, it was super cheap and the game looked so cool I was convinced to buy Centralfiction after playing just a little.
I remember when i tried the game out it would freak out if i minimized it and brought it back (or alt tab out of it while on fullscreen, forgot which of them), which would bug the game out until i resterted it. Really dodged a bullet by getting the 4 game pack instead of just CT
Hey man I'm ngl I think central fiction rollback official update happened the keyboard compatibility went to hell for me where either I keep jumping or I can't go left or right it happens to me after playing for about 30 minutes
Revisiting this and the Accent Core tier list since I recently got CT on PS3 and AC on Wii. (Granted AC isn't + or +r, so it doesn't have Justice and Kliff playable but what can ya do?)
Calamity Trigger has been such a problematic game for me to boot up, not only does the issues you described perfectly were the ones i had with the game, but the fact that even in 10 or more years the problem has never been addressed makes me think that at this point its just very uneasy and uncomfortable to play, nor will it have a solution The only option we are mostly left to do is to buy a PS3 or Xbox 360, but even then it would beg the question if it would be really worth going through the hassle in the first place. It sucks that the first entry of the series ended up being a rather shitty port on PC
omg i found a fix Right Click on the Executable File (.exe/BBCT) and Select Properties. Select the Compatibility Tab. Under Settings - Select “Disable Fullscreen Optimizations” Click Apply.
why dont you just, idk, set it to 60fps? I played the steam version for the first time just the other night and it was a totally fine port. Ran at 60fps @4k, several AA options, etc etc. Seems like a giant waste of time to make a whole youtube video just to say you dont know how to change settings...
The game randomly locks to 30fps. You have to restart your PC each time it does. It's a fairly common issue. I had this happen to me on GFWL version as well.
maybe it is ur PC is why the game runs like crap get a better PC maybe u played on a patato laptop and not on a ture gaming machine if ur gonna say ur PC was made for gaming maybe cuz it has outdated parts
Always good to see SOMEONE talking about BBCT in the year of our lord: 2022

I guess restarting works for some people. Maybe I'm just unlucky
@@x2Scoop Maybe if it runs in window mode, that worked too on the first generation intel hd graphics. It was a bad port anyway.

I genuinely have to wonder what the issue was, as the game always ran at 60 fps for me
You probably didn't play it on PC, it runs at 60 for me on Xbox, but refuses to run any higher on my PC despite it having previous gen specs
@@djcwittz3012No, I've played on PC
Love the video and love the persona music in the background
God damnit, I think my PC was running it bad...
Pray for this man he chose to buy this game on PC instead of any other platform

It's 60 on my end, weird
At least yours runs

that sounds awful

I had the luck of not have the game locked at 30fps but I had the error of the characters disappearing when I minimized the game.
4:19 same🗿

I've played BlazBlue Calamity Trigger on Steam and it seems to run at 60 fps, even on Steam Deck.
Thx for your video, instantly refunded the game 🙂
You do know there's a guide in the Steam community that fixes the problem, right?
I just booted the game for the first time, trying to get into the franchise, man it was horrible, looks like I'll have to skip this one
