Fridge Magnet | How To Make Soap Clay Fridge Magnet

Today we are making Fridge Magnet from Soap Clay.
Soap Clay/ Thai Clay Recipe
Materials Used For Soap Clay:
1. 1 Cup white Bathing soap
2. 1/2 Cup Water
3. 1/3 Cup White Glue
4. 1/2 Cup Cornstarch
5. Little oil for kneading
Procedure:
01. Finely grate bath soap.
02. Take 1 Cup grated white Bathing soap in a pan .
03. Mix 1/2 Cup Water and let it soak for 5 min.
04. Keep it on low flame and let it melt.
05. Now add 1/3 Cup or 5 tablespoon of white Glue or PVA Glue.
06. Mix it nicely. Let it reach the boiling point.
07. Turn off the heat once it starts boiling.
08. Add 1/2 Cup Cornstarch or corn flour.
09. Take the mixture in bowl. Apply some oil on your hands and start kneading.
10. You may need little more Cornstarch while kneading to reach exactly dough consistency.
11. It will get hard as it get cold. Its ready.
12. Apply some oil and pack it in zip lock bag and in airtight container.
13. Store it at room temperature, it will stay good for 3 to 4 months. And your projects will last for years...
Tips:
1.You can directly add acrylic, oil or food colors to it.
2.Once its dry, you can paint over it.
3.The consistency should be like perfect tear drop.
4.Its an airdry clay, which doesn't shrink much.

3. Homemade Soap Clay
4. Cutter
5. Dotting Tool
6. Toothpick
7. Ruler
8. Brush
9. Floral wire
10. Talcum Powder
11. Acrylic Colors
