@@SaintBeatrix Yngwie doesn't care for much of the Eclipse album tracks since a lot of them have double/triple harmonies they can't really replicate live. The production on that album was immense.
Thank you so much Shane for taking my request! That is Goran Edman singing. He's my favorite Yngwie singer. That album Eclipse is my favorite Yngwie album and I think you will like the entire album. Take care Shane!
Nice request, thanks for suggesting. I hadn't heard this one or any of the Eclipse album at all. I will be going from here next to listen to the whole album!
Heaven Tonight would be a nice react...so late 80s and timeless. Like Espi said, very restrained and measured track for Malmsteen, but still classic Malmsteen riffs on the solo work. Malmsteen was my second concert ever in 86 opening for Triumph.
Nice speak of the devil ozzy shirt....had that album on cassette tape in 7th grade in 83. Never was able to find it on cd or anywhere online either. I read Sharon had it pulled out of production in the US for copyright issues or something to that effect. 🦇 🤘 🐺
ya know, I vaguely remember something like that too and if I am remembering it came back out on casette and didnt sound have as good after the remaster?
@@ShaneDiablo not sure what the story was... Didn't know about it til recently trying to find the album on TH-cam and Google Ebay etc.... Can't buy it anywhere except in Canada or something crazy like that.
G3 2003 - Yngwie - Vai and Petrucci. One of the best shows I've seen! I can't believe how restrained Yngwie is in this slow jam, but he finally got to rip an amazing solo. Sweden FTW Abba Ace of Base Opeth Yngwie Roxette AMon AMarth Europe MEsshugah
@@MissAlthea Okay, Abba-ish nugget as pertains to rock...I'm kinda a Fozzy (Chris Jericho) fan, and found where Fozzy covered SOS by Abba. There's a couple videos on You Tube including a live cut, but the live cut audio not the best- check one of the audio only videos for better sound, but I really dug it. Check it out if you haven't heard it yet...but then trying to pass something by you and Den that you're not up already is a pretty hard task.😊
@@rickbelk6844 OMG...next to Dancing Queen, SOS is my fave Abba song of all time and I knew nothing about the Fozzy cover!! (Den and I are fans of Jericho as a wrestler but we are not well-read on Fozzy.) MUST check that out!!
I've never been a huge Yngwie fan and unfortunately this track did nothing to change anything for me. No disrespect to his talents and reputation; just not a good fit for my tastes.....
Faultline has always been one of my fave songs by Malmsteen
He never plays it live and it’s so good, I would slip him a cool hundo if he plays it when I see him in November

This sing is a hidden gem on Eclipse! Cant believe someone did a reaction to this amazing song! Thanks for doing this my liege! #playloud

Awesome request man. I love this record and this track in particular.

Goran Edman rules. Loved his singing with Madison and John Norum. Eclipse is my favorite YJM album.
It missed rising force his first solo album, and marching out his secound, Goran Edman on vocals
Goran Edman is the singer. Another LLLOOONNGG resume, and totally worthy
Fun Fact: This song was inspired by the earthquake that destroyed Yngwie's house in 1988.

Goran Edman is the man!! Very cool guy and nice in person!
Check about Göran Edman singing in Brazen Abbot.

Hey Dancing Queen, it's a Beautiful Life! LOVE the mere mentions of Abba and Ace of Base!! 😻

Alcatrazz fired Malmsteen and replaced him with Steve Vai. Holy crap.
Such an awesome album and track. How about some Hear n Aid "Stars" the heavy metal/hard rock version of USA For Africa "We Are the World".
Yngwie has such an odd tone. The mids are turned wayy up. But i do love this album.
Has Yng ever written a song called Dream On? I only know Hold On
for a tribute to aerosmith.... so it's a cover... along with the great Dio as the vocalist..
He sounds a bit like Joey Tempest.
