I've watched over 50 kdramas, and respectfully, this is THE best kissing scene out there. It was so beautifully executed. The fake rain, the way he put her onto the counter top, the whole build up to the kiss !! I mean, did yall see that gaze ?! Man really asked "do i have permission?" AHHHHHHHH. Consent is so hot but he made it even hotter. It was so unexpected but so so perfect. And the way they looked at each other before the second kiss, I mean he was literally shaking. No other kdrama male lead could ever. This scene is definitely not going to help calm down the dating rumors, because bae that kiss seems like they've had some practice before ;) DID I MENTION THE HAND PLACEMENTS AND THE LIP BITE ?! yeah i have officially gone crazy.

Best kiss scene for me in all Kdramas!!! Gu Won asked permission because he knew he was going ALL in!! He was actually preparing her. This would be no little kiss. Usually the men in these dramas test the waters with a small kiss, pull away and wait for her reaction. Positive reaction then he goes for it. Or we get the shocked female's wide eyes of surprise, she doesn't kiss back and this is with small kisses. That's when the asking of permission really needs to happen.

I am a Rom-com fan and in my 50’s, so I have scene my fair share of cinematic kisses.
It was amazing the music, the emotions felt real not playing a part and the couple, damn if there is a prize for best on screen couple/kiss they would get first place.
Now i can gladly wait a week for the next episode while im watching this on repeat unlike last couple of weeks where I couldn't contain the excitement waiting for the next ep 😭
