I got into this topic a few days ago when a friend showed me a riffle shuffle with bridge. I was impressed and learned it in the last 1.5 days. This video is a good start for me because I don't realy know how or where to start learning cardistry.
As someone who loves collecting card decks, and someone with a history of contact juggling, I have found myself happily falling down the cardistry rabbit hole.
A few years ago I got into balisongs to get better dexterity. I recently switched to cards because I am now less likely to cut my thumb open when I try something difficult. Also I can carry cards anywhere.
Can this be done with ordinary playing cards? I'm asking because my cards seem so stiff compared to yours, or is it just because yours have been handled so much?
There are different types of stock (thickness and material) of cards and each control differently! Your cards will relax and loosen the more you use them but sometimes it's nice to have different types of decks for different tricks and feels. Look into buying a deck from theory11 because they make some of the best beginner to intermediate cards that are only like $10!
@@torchofice16 Thank you so much! The only deck I had was one of those you play with that you can buy for a few dollars 😅 It didn't work very well 😆 I'm going to check this out! I'd love to learn this and now during quarantine, I finally have the time 😁
Try bicycle cards I find they move better and are affordable. A cheap deck of cards, the cards clump or stick together. Plus bicycle are used for magic tricks too.
Yes you can use normal playing cards but its best to get the better quality one made by Bicycle. They have cards with air-cushion. Those cards dont stick or clump and paper stock is quality
it takes time and practice to get better. i havent met anybody with smaller hands than me yet, i am much better than all the people i know when it comes to handling cards. just keep going, you'll get there :)
It's not his fault you don't understand that he is giving you pointers where to start instead of giving detailed instructions on every move. I for one, found it very helpful.
Good video with high production value BUT your accent makes certain phrases impossible for new ppl to understand. There were more than half a dozen times when I could not understand you and you didn't include accurate subtitles (And I usually have no difficulty even with heavy accents.)
This video sucks. So we made a better one: th-cam.com/video/bDpCxoSyqSc/w-d-xo.html

should be either a 90min vid or the first of a series playlist
What tutorial? All he did was basically show a load of stuff and talk about how much he was complimented 😂😂
A tutorial is a step by step how to
Great self awareness

3:16 I literally became a fan from the card spread, and a disciple after the LePaul. The style is silk. ❤️
Those cards are illusiom
I'm right handed but I hold the deck with my right and deal with my left. I guess that makes me goofy?

Really dig the chanel. Great tips for a beginner like me. Hope to learn more soon. 👍
