American English is very descriptive, lacks the European influence from history IMO. The English language has influence from French and Germanic and even Roman, I'm proud of that history. You have rewritten it and that's fine with me. We were conquered by the Normans in 1066, hundreds of years before America was even a thing.

@LiamDempsey40k Well, a Europe trip does have a stop in the UK, I would go to Bovington. But I'd extend to swing done to Southampton.
America is doing just fine.
Also, American English is the correct English. Modern British English diverged and came about the 1800s after the Revolution.
