These settings are mostly for those who want a more story driven experience with their game. These settings allow me to tell the stories that I would want to tell according to what I have planned in my universe mode. These aren’t really for those who want to make the game more difficult. There are videos out there that focus on that if you want more of that experience. Just wanted to put it out there for those that might get the wrong idea of what these settings are best for.
Glad they helped. I do these every year with every release. I'm never sure if they'll change something or improve something so every year I have to test settings again and again. I usually wait for patches to come through as well just in case things may change. People tend to obsess over the star rating of a match when to be honest, it doesn't really matter. Some matches will be better than others. I've had really good AI Vs AI through testing. In terms of playing the matches, I've had some pretty good back and forth matches with the AI which makes calling the matches even more fun.

So, I have a TH-cam channel that uses AI vs AI. It is very common that the AI after taking a finisher or two, just gets pinned by a random move. How can I make it so that doesn’t happen as often?
That’s just how the game is unfortunately. Sometimes that happens. Not much you can do about it. You can turn the finisher and special meter to slow and that’ll make it longer to build up a finisher and signature so someone is more likely to go down after a finisher or two versus just a move. That’s something that you could try but doesn’t necessarily mean it’ll always work.

It can vary. Again, star ratings don’t matter. It’s just a gimmick thing. I’ve done recordings where some matches will last total of 15 minutes and that’s not including entrances. I’ve done some that are very very quick. I don’t really do AI versus AI too much but it can vary in length. If you do want a match to last longer you can move the special and finisher meter to slow which will make it take a while for a finisher or signature to be ready which in turn could possibly make the match last longer or you could put resiliency payback on and make it last longer that way. It varies though. You might have to make adjustments accordingly.
My silders are based on the fact that it allows me more freedom to create the outcome that I want in matches, so yes in theory. The only reason I say that is because 2K is 2K and no matter what you do, things are going to happen. With that being said, I’ve found these settings combined with minor adjustments to paybacks have created the best experience possible for me imo. Some things may work, some things may not. It all depends on how the player plays the game with the settings as well.
That you may have not really much control over in terms of the slider settings. However, I can recommend while setting up a match, turn the finisher and special meter to slow and turn the resiliency payback off so the AI can't use it. Having the meters be to slow will allow the match to be longer but also allow more damage to be accumulated throughout the match so when a finisher is finally hit, it is less likely that someone with lower attributes will kick out of more than one finisher. However, this can happen from time to time just because it's 2K and no matter what you adjust things that you don't want to occur can still happen.

This is how much damage the AI will inflict or receive meaning the higher it is, the more damage say a suplex or a move will do, the lower the less damage. I had it as the same from 2K23 because if you have it too high then, one simple move could be enough to end a match and since I play my matches, I don't want that to happen. Most people that play these games are usually looking for the closest you can get to a back and forth good quality wrestling match as much as possible but feel free to adjust it if you would like to.
