Hello, Clay and Mark and thanks. Mark, could you mention one or two of Clay's songs, for example, that caught your ear when you first heard them?
I can answer that. I remember the songs he liked on the demo he heard. There were two songs in particular. Those songs were never recorded by famous artists, so you would not know them. I still had to level up my skills to start getting cuts and #1 songs under my belt. But Mark heard the potential and signed me. As we always tell our SongTown members, Publishers are looking for writers, not single songs. Focus on leveling up your writing skills and become a great writer and you will reach your goals.
