At my work, we had a meeting one day. It was a meet 'n greet with the new manager. He's up there doing his glad hand routine, learning everyone's name, and saying how happy he is to be a part of the team. It literally took _everything_ I had to not ask "This ain't some kinda trick to get us looking one way and then *WHAM!* out come the three iron to teach us a lesson we don't understand the reason behind, is it?"
