I'm looking to buy thies exact kit from cb gitty. What I wanted to know was the neck it says fully fretted neck with 0 frets... WTF? On your video, looks that it is fully fretted. I see it at 99.93 canadian. I also saw video of a guy who even put springs in his to get more of that resonator sound but it wasnt the tin pan guitar just the straight pipe cbg.
That is a little confusing, but I think I can clear it up. They're talking about a "zero fret", not "0 frets". A zero fret is a type of guitar nut in case you're not familiar with that term. Rest assured, anything CB Gitty claims is fully fretted does have frets.
It can be tuned any way you want, but you'll have to match the string gauges to the note. With the strings I have on it that probably wouldn't work but if you used a E, A, & D from a heavy guitar pack it probably would.
Your rendition of midnight special was incredible
Thanks for that comment. This instrument really does work well for songs like that.
Nice build! I especially like your flaming paint job!
Thanks!
That was great!...I liked the song too a lot!
sweet
Thanks for checking it out.
