She could be a traveler, but she's a badass and she steals some cool stuff across the galaxy and has her own spaceship/home where she has a room whit all the things, and she could have a large space cat... wow I really have a lot of ideas. Her name could be Xina. idk

Sometimes I don't really get why you do stuff, but instead of worrying I think "Wow, I don't like this... I just can't wait for her to completely transform it with just a few strokes!"
Like, it's so amazing to me how you can experiment and be (or seem) confident. And if it doesn't turn out perfect I know I just have to wait and you will make it absolutely beautiful without fail.
I think you should call her Ileah (pronounced aye-lee-ah) she’s the daughter of a space captain and has always wanted to join the space academy. She gets into the academy as the youngest recruit they’ve ever had and halfway through her training, her father and his crew disappear. So she quits the academy, steals a ship, and travels through the galaxies searching for her father and his lost crew. She encounters many adventures along the way and sometimes gets into trouble. She won’t stop searching until she’s found her father. She learns all the tricks to exploring and navigating the complexities of the various intergalactic governments as well as learning how to make money be it through smuggling, pirating, or the occasional treasure hunt.
Such a cool, strong character! Love it!

what if part of her backstory is that her mom is a legendary explorer and collector and she grew up following her mom around on her ship but now she works alone cause her mom is....hmm idunno? maybe in space jail lol? or maybe she’s retired haha. she just gives me that kind of “grew up under a powerful parental figure’s care so she inherited a lot of her parents traits and skills through teaching and training” type vibe :) i love her though she’s so cool
What if she had a little creature that comunicated with her telepathically that told her where to go? And what if because shes so grumpy, the creature is really the only thing she is soft for?

Call her Gase (for Grumpy alien space explorer). Her blog posts could be her "rant of the day" about the other officers on her explorer ship (like the most recent space babe the Captain is having a yet another fling with).
I was feeling so art blocked the whole week and couldn't shake it it off even for a tiny bit, but seeing your videos always helps me get back on track and inspired!

I believe that this is ST311A, but most people call her stella. She is an interstellar (interStella 😅) ambassador from planet Zaitrax and was sent to Earth to help humans fix the Earth and stop killing it. She is upset with her higher ups because she doesn't want to deal with such a primitive species of life form. She finds humans ill informed and poorly educated and strives to reconnect us to our ties with the Earth.
I feel like she could have a sidekick with her on her travels! like a little hovering robot who brings up a map and translates different languages for her ! something like rotom dex!!
Maybe she's an alien cleaner on a starship a bit like Starfleet in Star Trek. She's grumpy because she hates cleaning and believes she could be the captain. They travel around to new galaxies when they get to new planets she sneaks out to do her own exploring. How about Orrita (O-reeta) like the constellation Orion?
Really thought the pet you sketched first looked like one of Rin's Blub fish.

Hey Dina! I love your artwork and your videos! I can relate to being impatient and not wanting to let things dry :'D . I highly suggest getting an embossing gun. Its just a little hot air gun. Like a hair dryer but it works way faster than a high dryer and it's smaller and less clunky. I got on one amazon for about $13 so they are very affordable. You could also check thrift stores for hair dryers :)
The blacks of the eyes could also be the pupils
Have u ever thought of doing a line art with notebook paper where like the lines are pulled back and u have a character either under the lines or steping into a world or showing a world etc. Think that be awesome to see with some of ur characters

Maybe her name is Korvra. Maybe her parents are nobles on the brink of poverty, so they arranged a marriage for her to a pretty wealthy noble but she didn’t like that and ran away to another planet. Maybe she’s a space pirate? Idk, but your drawing is really pretty ^_^

The name Alara came to mind when I first saw her
I can see her being an adventurous spaceship navigator/ pilot for a cartography company to survey new planets. Gets lost in her wanderings and has problems with authority.
Curiosity got her into the company and has almost killed the proverbial cat multitudes of times.
Im sure I could go on and on and make up a whole thing if I let myself.
No matter who she is shes a beautiful character.
This was an excuse for showing us her alien from area 51.

Ah! She's so neat! Maybe she's grumpy because as part of being an explorer she observes native wildlife for all the different planets and she has noted a decrease in biodiversity and she keeps telling people that they need to stop hunting/destroying ecosystems/polluting/etc and no one listens so (as a throwback to that one sketch you made where she's holding a pet) since no one listens she has taken it on herself to help those species in decline by smuggling the animals into refuges to help bolster their numbers in a safe place. And she's just angry at everyone in general because of all the people that refused to listen to her.

No it doesn't? Seeress is völva, and most if not all god titles have 'as' or 'aes' as the first syllable, on account of the _aes_ -ir being the main gods?

She looks less like an explorer, and more like a priestess that is forced into finding a new home for her species. Or maybe she just lost one of her apprentices for the tenth time that day and she is done with life having to look for him.

I've been feeling really lost in my art lately, I'm wondering if working in traditional for a while will help. Do you feel that switching up your medium helps when you're in a funk? I also love how you just use pencil for your lineart instead of ink.
