I think the stiffer spring rate that ARC coilovers have, works much better with the G6, seeing that it’s much heavier. The mk1 is very light, so I’d imagine the rebound to be a lot harder, hence the bounce, especially on that low height. An extended top mount will do wonders for the ride quality. I used to run Maxtrac coils in my Golf back in the day, and on a low height like yours, the car would bounce A LOT. After installing extended mounts, I could drive it low AF and still have it somewhat comfortable.

Both golf's look great the polo looks ace .when yours was stopping it looked like a car with abs .I'd personally lift the front up 1cm .just to give the front spoiler a bit of dive room .but run it low for the track .as you know fwd cars launch differently if too low ar the front and too high at the rear .we call it reverse speed boating....awesome video jamie

Long time ago I fitted a set of affordable coilovers to my mk1 Golf, it was a bad idea then and it is still a bad idea now. The car rode terribly and the standard suspension was definitely significantly better for fast road driving in the real world. Also please put some decent tyres on your car, that will make a much bigger difference to your handling than cutting springs and cheap coilovers.
Howzit bro.... Know anyone who has installed ARC blue coilovers on a polo TSI old shape, want to know if the car bounces about and if drop links were also installed

U were supposed to remove the helper spings for less bounce and have it clear the tyres so that the coilover locking key doesnt touch . U can roll ur fenders too if u want to tuck the tyre and not let it touch ur arch and let it burn ur paint good video non the less cant waut for the next video

Jom only bounce when you take the helper spring out .

How do i roll fenders without damaging paint, my wheels scrap on bumps if I'm traveling anywhere over 60km/h
