    Most important of all, the mission-breaking bug with the Allied War Factory has been fixed. I've also changed Soviet mission text to Orange so that it's easier to read in the Playthrough videos.

    I like that the Soviet victory in the war isn't a complete curb-stomp. Makes it a lot more interesting

    It is actually very easy to win this mission, just block the beach located at the base up to the west (the one or after the Allies will build theirs) with lots of walls, so the Allies can not enter on the beach and build their base. The only enemy forces present on the island will be airborne ones that will be easy to kill. Finally just send an army on the west base at the top, open a wall access the enemy units will enter one by one and it will be very easy to kill them all;)

    I've always wondered what those little hospital-like looking buildings (shown at 0:08) are for. Aesthetics?

      +Todd Gobbett They work like the old Tech Hospital in RA2 where you send wounded infantry into it one at a time and they pop out a few seconds later, fully healed.

    Why do you place so many barracks? The amount increases the infantry building speed?

    The Radar Tower is removed in act 2? Then what structure will provide minimap vision?

    Hehe, the mission introduction says that a prototype Stalin's Fist has mysteriously disappeared, and either the European Alliance or the Chinese are responsible for it...
    However, we, the players, have just played/watched the third Epsilon Act One mission...

    I see,you're doing Allied,Soviet and Epsilon missions in that order so we can read and undestand the story.

    If so,bet this pattern will be the same on the Act 2,right?
    And also,is there something valuable where all the undiscovered terrain on water is? Like Oil Derricks,or something?

      Raul Yes, the missions are roughly parallel to each other when it comes to the Mental Omega timeline and Act Two will keep that format.

At least a million people perished on both sides. Because some of Russia's former allies were involved, the newly formed Soviet Union pulled out from the First World War by signing a humilating treaty with Germany. Because most of Western Europe supported the Whites, the Soviet Union distrusted them. The conflict between White ideology and Red ideology reared its head again in the name of the Cold War.Modern Russia is somewhat considered White, but most Western nations would not like to associate themselves with it.

      @@BobbyWanKenobi I think in alternative RA history after defeat of USSR in first game White Army re-emerged in far regions of the country, like some kind of rebellion against Soviet government.
      Honestly, I think there is a lot of storytelling space to make another campaign, like RA1.5, about time period between 1950 and 1980 of RA timeline.
      We saw glimpses of that events in covert ops - but it just glimpses.

      Mental Omega for Red Alert 2 Good to hear. By the way: Last year Martinoz O uploaded a preview video of this mission showing the new tech airport and the option to build Hailfox fighters from it. Has this option been kept, now that the Soviets are getting a buildable airfield?

      Tech Airport no longer provides aircraft build options since all sides are now getting their own aircraft, it just stores up to 4 like an Allied Helipad. And there's of course Paradrops.

    Gameplay seems a bit different than what I had playing now. Enemy doesn't seem to spam units out of their production structures like they do when I play. They don't really obey the resource limitations either.
    Also unsure what to make of the game's new rock-paper-sissors type of balance either as conscripts seem kind of useless.

    Personally, I wish the Easy diff of these missions wasn't so aggressive as I can only complete 2 maybe 3 missions out of all 3 factions. (even the Easy Skirmish AI is more aggressive then Vanilla Brutal and I can just manage Brutal)

      ***** Welp,Vanilla Brutal is actually REALLY easy (At least if you play a million hours with RA2/YR)
      I tried Medium,and it's JUST a little bit more difficult than Easy. Just a little bit.
      I have problems with RA2/YR/MO right now because I updated to Windows 10,but when I manage to play,I'll try Mental...
      Mabye I'll get rekt,I don't know. :V

      Raul Well I think the requirement to play 'millions of hours of RA2/YR' is an unrealistic requirement just to play Mental Omega in any respect. It doesn't matter how good a mod is if the AI for Comp Stomps are hyper aggressive even on easy.
      As for Windows 10, I recommend using a Virtual Machine running something like XP Pro, which is what I do since Win 7 SP1 broke native compatibility with the engine.

      Always spamming planes,soldiers,tanks,and of course... the Mercury Uplink.
      God,I hate that building (If it's in the AI's hands... :U)
      When you get used to it,you feel the games gets "easier",that's it...

    Quite a fine mission in itself, but selling your buildings at the beginning feels too linear. Who wouldn't do this?
